@UKHospKate Starting point has to be lowering vat for hospitality as a whole, the entire industry is struggling, pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels all need to be supported. A venue shouldn’t be excluded because it doesn’t do food or doesn’t have accommodation, it’s the whole of hospitality

We already pay the highest VAT on hospitality and tourism - and visitors even pay vat on top of a visitor levy, so this is a triple whammy of tax. The starting point should be lowering VAT on accommodation and eating out - as we had during the pandemic.
