Speaking as another human being, a decidedly normal one at that compared to some that roam in political parties (all of them) It's horrific, the country has failed our women and children, it never should have happened. What happened to them has been covered up for far too long (it should never have been covered up in the first place obviously) the first reports should have been actioned and taken out before more of our girls became victims. I know and am aware of your concerns that Burnham will push the delete button again if he becomes PM, I personally am hopeful the upcoming enquiry report shines a light on Burnham, Augusta being conveniently (for the perpetrators ) hushed and Victoria's story. Justice and retribution is demanded and owed to thousands of our women and children that had the whole course of their lives ruined by these gangs that should never have been here in the first place. Britain failed them and from my personal view the perpetrators should be hung and their complicit family members imprisoned or deported. The police officers, judges, Councillors, MPs and anyone else with power that were complicit and silenced the victims enabling further atrocious crimes to be committed against our girls should also be imprisoned. As I said that's my own personal view. You may have been expecting a misogynistic, rape apologist, CSA enabler response but no, not here. Every party has some bad actors. Like the guy you quote posted recently. Disgusting vile bastard, if you can joke about it you are already beyond saving. Sadly people like that shelter under the eaves and often shout loudest, then opposition parties use that to paint the other party as a whole which is fair. There is much to be done in politics to root out the bad actors, how feasible that is I do not know, I am not a politician. I would say I'm sorry for what happened to your sister, because I am, but I doubt sorry from one man means much to you after fighting for so many years. As a British citizen we all failed our girls to some degree. Maybe there was more we could have done. The more whistles that are blown together, the louder the noise gets until it cannot be ignored.
