Social media influencers showed them: - potential value of graded cards/sealed product - they are more valuable over a 30-year period than the S&P 500 - more stable than crypto - takes less time/effort than a 9-5 job What wasn't taught was the burnout and inability to move higher valued items. Sets release every 3-4 months and they have effectively become hype salesmen trying to constantly chase the newer and shinier set/card.
