Na Europskom vijeću donijeli smo odluku o imenovanju guvernera @HNB_HR Borisa Vujčića za novog potpredsjednika Europske središnje banke na mandat od osam godina. Zahvaljujemo svim čelnicima država članica na potpori hrvatskom kandidatu, koji je dobio povjerenje i u @Europarl_EN i #Eurogroup. Ovo imenovanje potvrda je stručnosti i kvalitetnog rada guvernera u proteklim godinama, ali i velik međunarodni uspjeh Hrvatske kao nove članice #Eurozone, koja je, unatoč brojnim globalnim izazovima, zadržala put snažnog gospodarskog rasta i financijske stabilnosti. Borisu Vujčiću želimo puno uspjeha u obnašanju druge najviše dužnosti u @ecb!

Na sastanku Europskog vijeća #EUCO fokus je na nizu važnih tema – daljnja potpora Ukrajini, konkurentnost EU-a, kao i posljedice sukoba na Bliskom istoku, osobito na cijene energenata i europsku sigurnost. Moramo reagirati brzo i donositi mjere za zaštitu građana i gospodarstava. Cijene nafte i plina znatno su porasle, što će se odraziti i na cijene električne energije. ➡️@VladaRH odmah je ograničila cijene naftnih derivata. Spremni smo ponovno reagirati, a naglasak ostaje na sigurnosti opskrbe energentima i priuštivim cijenama. ➡️Na razini EU-a dugoročno je važno ubrzati energetsku tranziciju na obnovljive izvore energije i smanjivati ovisnost o fosilnim gorivima. ➡️Hrvatska jamči Mađarskoj i Slovačkoj opskrbu naftom putem JANAF-a. Time potvrđujemo da je 🇭🇷 pouzdan, učinkovit i cjenovno povoljan energetski pravac.

At #ENVI, Minister @marvuckovic joined talks on the post-2030 climate framework, CO₂ emission standards for cars, environment diplomacy & the bioeconomy.

Drago mi je u Bruxellesu sastati se s predsjednikom Vlade Sjeverne Makedonije @MickoskiHM. Razmijenili smo mišljenja o geopolitičkim izazovima, sigurnosti energetske opskrbe na jugoistoku Europe, kao i o mjerama koje dvije vlade poduzimaju u borbi protiv rasta cijena energenata. Hrvatska će nastaviti podupirati Sjevernu Makedoniju na putu prema članstvu u EU-u. Smatramo da 🇲🇰 zaslužuje jasnu 🇪🇺 perspektivu.

Good exchange with @marvuckovic, 🇭🇷Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition. We had a constructive discussion on key climate priorities and opportunities, including support by the Social Climate Fund and ETS2 Frontloading Facility.

At this morning’s the Nuclear Alliance meeting, Minister @susnjar_a stressed 🇭🇷’s strong support for nuclear energy as a key pillar of Europe’s decarbonisation and an important component of a resilient, low-carbon energy system.

Secure & affordable energy high on the agenda at #TTE #Energy. Minister @susnjar_a joined talks on affordable energy and clean energy investment for EU competitiveness, stressing 🇭🇷 readiness to ensure security of energy supply via Adria pipeline, including for HU & SK.
