@Fern_Britton My thinking has always been maybe the poor woman was feeling overwhelmed by everything: menopause, bills, family, life, everything and she needed to step out of her life for a bit. This won’t help find her and may have pushed her further away, not supportive 😢

I am uncomfortable with the latest news suggesting that Nicola Bulley has an issue with alcohol and menopause. The undertone is that she maybe ‘ a bit unstable’ or perhaps even ‘not in her right mind.’ Too easy to write a woman off like this. What lies behind it?

@mouthwaite I go to sleep at 10pm no problem but keep waking up at 4.15am. It's so annoying but I hadn't realised it is to do with the menopause. Sometimes I fall back to sleep after playing on my phone. I am 47.

So just when you feel you have the menopause symptoms all under control… insomnia strikes again. Shattered but woke at 3.30am … wide awake club.

@KatePlym @RetirementTales @NDPlymouth I was 13 and just started a morning paper round, a milk bottle flew across the road and smashed against the shop next to my head as I climbed off my bike. I remember my dad coming in his car and helping with my round so I got home safe! Never realised how bad it was at the time!
