Self hatred is just narcissism wearing a cheap disguise. You think your failures are uniquely catastrophic, your awkwardness is unprecedented, your face is the most embarrassing anyone has ever seen. That is not humility. Humility means thinking about yourself less, not thinking worse of yourself. What you are doing is inverted grandiosity.
It could be said the same about self pity too. It is just narcissism disguised as depth. It feels deep but it is mostly entitlement in a sad mask. You tell yourself you expect nothing, that you are worthless, yet the theatrical despair betrays a quiet demand. You want someone to disagree. You want the universe to finally acknowledge your hidden value.
It is not that your pain is fake. It is that ordinary discomfort feels unbearable when you have no other way to feel special. The daily frictions of life a rude email, a canceled plan, a mild embarrassment are not enough. So you upgrade them to tragedies. You need a storyline with real weight because a storyline with no weight would reveal the terrifying possibility that you are just another person having a normal Tuesday.
That is the deeper narcissism. You would rather be a tragic hero than a nobody. You would rather be broken in a unique and beautiful way than admit that your problems are mostly the same boring problems everyone has. Self hatred becomes the costume you wear to avoid the plain face of ordinary life. And the joke is that ordinary life, with all its small annoyances and small joys, is where actual peace lives. But you cannot get there as long as you need your suffering to be special. The hard truth is that pain is ordinary and no one is coming to certify your suffering as specially tragic.
The real distinction is between wanting to take responsibility and wanting to be the reason. Taking responsibility fixes what you broke and moves on. Wanting to be the reason clings to guilt like a trophy because being the cause means you still matter. That is the trap. Your self hatred is not a moral position. It is just another way of keeping yourself at the center of every story.

The jury acquitted her, but let's be precise.
She wasn’t found “innocent” in the sense that nothing happened. She admitted to the killing.
The jury simply decided that, in that moment, catching a man in the act of abusing her child, her actions were justified. Legitimate defense of a third person. A mother protecting her daughter from immediate harm.
This wasn’t cold-blooded murder that was premeditated or something. It was a parent snapping in the face of the unthinkable.
Does this mean vigilante justice is now legal? No.
It only means that the court understood the raw, primal instinct of a mother whose child was being violated. Because the line between justice and revenge is thin in cases like this.

Can you criticize him for cheating? Absolutely. But- I had no viewers whatsoever and became desperate after trying everything to be relevant, so I chose to appeal to people who hate my gender in order to pay rent. Am I going to flip on a serial cheater who had sex with women without telling them that they'd be homewreckers? Of course not! Morals are an obstacle to my income. Mujin was never really a reliable narrator, so when his video eventually comes out about me being cancelled by my audience for secretly having dated a black guy, even though I keep saying that I can't stand minorities, please don't trust him! Also, English is my first language and I have no idea that predator can mean: "A person or organization that uses weaker people for their own advantage" But it's ok, my "audience" gobbles up anything I say anyway, dumbass simps lmao

Mujin is crashing out, everyone knows then when it comes to YouTube and cancelling people, when people say that a person is a “predator” everyone instinctively knows it’s referring to an individual that’s taking advantage of children.
Mujin wanted to use the word predator to mislead people into believing that sykunno was trying to manipulate children for sexual reasons.
In reality this wasn’t the case, all of the “victims” were adults. Now when he gets backlash he hides behind a technicality and goes “but actually predator means taking advantage of people”. Obviously calling someone a predator and then letting the viewers assume the worst case scenario is better than simply calling sykunno a cheater.
