I honestly don’t get this beef with the NHS clapping. “DEy DoN’T nEed CLapS, DeY NEeD A pAY RisE!!” We’re aware of that, but we (the public) can’t give them one. It does no harm. It’s a gesture. If it makes ONE doctor or nurse feel appreciated, it’s worth doing.
