@LukeEdwardsTele For the Mackems own sake they better not be in any home areas of the ground. The club have been selling tickets to away fans in other parts of the home ends previously and have been warned about today. #NUFC

Fights have broken out close to St James’ Park. Small groups of Sunderland supporters had broken away from police escort and walked through large gathering of Newcastle fans. And were predictably attacked #nufc #safc

@kelefc I did actually wear my Everton bucket hat yesterday. But that's because I'm a ginger baldy and it was a dangerous 12 degrees!

Yesterday we made the place look & feel like it's our home, would it be too much to ask that folk start to wear our colours though ? people are complaining that there isn't enough blue in the ground yet turning up in mostly black so the crowd doesn't even look like we're at home

@henrywinter this is what sets us apart from every other fanbase in the league - we show up for the club when it needs us most, not when the trophies are rolling in. this is the atmosphere that terrifies Forest today. rivals talk all they want, they'd never do this 🤍

Spurs fans preparing noon coach meet to greet their players. Drummer, chants, megaphone etc in “all together, always” message, a nod to Romero. Those involved in organising saw how Everton fans met their players off the bus to inspire them during relegation battles. #TOTNFO

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

@BenGrahamUK So Christianity was brought here then, which makes it not 'British.' did that 1st Christian swim across with a visa between his teeth or maybe arrive on a small boat ?

@calum1878 blue's present on most of my clothes tbh but yeah I didn't used to walk through the Euston Tunnels back then in full colours, I did however used to wear my shirt & ski hat in Salford College without giving a flying shite though from 85-89 when i was on Apprentice day release

@kelefc It just doesn't come naturally to us. I'm 54 myself and I think it was going away in the 80s that stopped me wearing colours. It can happen on special occasions like the last couple of games at Goodison, but I personally quite like the fact we don't overdo the shirts and scarfs.

@terry__smith this has been the case on a few occasions, but you dare to think it & the script is usually lose v Brentford, they win their game, pump us in the derby & end up 9 points ahead of us. Just dont even think it never mind say it.

Here’s a dream new stadium scenario: 11th April Everton win away again in European ‘6 Pointer’ V Brentford. Sandwiched in between the PSG games, Fulham beat Liverpool. 19th April Go into 1st ever Bramley Derby with a win to see us go above the RS. Scenes In Excelis. 💙

@kelefc Not being funny, but just wondering how old you are? We've just never been a crowd that wear colours on any large scale since probably the mid 80s. Haven't worn a shirt of scarf to the game since I was a teenager.

We were attacking down the left yesterday with speed & going right at the defenders ... that wouldn't have existed if Grealish was playing.

Beto has taken some stick throughout his Everton career. Written off time and again. Criticism has largely been unfair, IMO. It’s obvious where his strengths lie. We haven’t played to them enough. Yesterday against Chelsea we did and he got his rewards. Buzzing for him.
