@Atul_Gawande These numbers need to be adjusted for country population. US has 1/5 population of Italy. The adjustments are even more important within countries for determining areas those #MostInNeed

It appears we are a week or so behind Italy. A ban on flights from Europe isn’t going to change that. More decisive federal action — massive testing and social distancing — appears to be necessary to “flatten the curve.”

@agoodmanbacon Many moons ago, I worked in hospital kitchen, very careful to exclude ill workers from work. This isn’t emphasized enough. If we do not target advice and restrictions to most relevant party we will shut down everything #TargetResources

#MostInNeed Federal funds should be directed to areas and individuals most in need; most affected by the direct and indirect effects of coronovirus. Think, medical FEMA. Once size fits all... an equal sized check to each household is simple, but inefficient.
