Amer Abu Sabila, 25, a married father of two, was driving from his Bedouin village to Sderot to visit his brother on October 7. On the road, he came across the Swissa family. Minutes earlier, the father, Dolev, had been fatally shot by terrorists in the car. Amid the chaos, as militants poured into town, Odaya Swissa struggled to drive her daughters to safety and desperately called for help. Amer, on the phone with his father, who begged him to turn back immediately, answered: “Father, there is a mother and two girls in front of me in danger. I must help them.” He got into Odaya’s car and began following a policeman toward the nearest station, but Hamas was waiting for them at Sderot police station. The two terrorists repeatedly shot at the policeman, Amer, and Odaya. Miraculously, the two little girls, aged 3 and 6, who were hiding in the back seat, were unharmed. They were later rescued by a passing security officer. In just a few minutes, Hamas destroyed three families, but thanks to Amer, the two girls survived and have the chance to grow up. The media, the Free Palestine crowd, and the world, who know nothing about Israel, love to portray Israel as an apartheid state: Jews against Muslims. But the truth is far more nuanced. The truth is that a hero like Amer, an Arab Israeli, a Muslim, gave his life to save two Jewish girls. Allah yerahmo 💔

Today is the second anniversary of the horrific October 7th HAMAS attack on Israel, which resulted in war, massive loss of life, and a humanitarian disaster. We mourn these losses alongside the families and loved ones of all those who died. Hostages abducted two years ago are still being held captive, and killings continue. But we now see a chance to end the war, free the hostages, alleviate the humanitarian situation, establish appropriate parameters for restoring normal life, and ensure that the war in the region does not reignite. We support @POTUS Donald Trump's peace efforts and all countries that assist, and we hope that the meetings and contacts taking place these days will yield the necessary results. Peace must prevail, and we wish this for every family and nation.

In September, no one takes to our streets to celebrate 9/11. Germans don’t celebrate the Holocaust. The Japanese don’t celebrate Pearl Harbour. Americans don’t celebrate Hiroshima or Nagasaki. So, why the hell do we tolerate Palestinians basking in the horrors of their crimes?

British Jews are told to stay indoors and not gather in groups while terrorist-loving "human rights" advocates take to the streets waving Palestinian flags, demanding a globalized intifada. Britain, wake the hell up.

Today in Birmingham, the Hamas atrocities of 7 October 2023 were justified and cheered. The banner: “Glory to our martyrs and the Palestinian resistance”. It features a red triangle, a symbol of support for Hamas and a swastika for the 21st Century. "By all means necessary!"

They're shouting "Long Live the Intifada" in London tonight. Given that the terrorist attack in Manchester was an act of intifada, why is this not treated as incitement to terrorism?

I’m tired of the lies we tell ourselves. Our leaders cry every day about “the occupation” as if history began in 1948, as if Israel is some unique monster in human history. But let me remind you of something that no one dares to speak out loud: we Arabs are the children of the biggest and longest occupation the Middle East and Africa have ever seen. In the 7th and 8th centuries, Arab tribes burst out of the Arabian Peninsula. Within just a few decades, they crushed the Byzantine Empire in Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt. They destroyed the Persian Empire. They swept across North Africa, reaching all the way to Morocco, Spain, and even southern France. At its height, the Arab Caliphate ruled 13 million square kilometers - larger than Rome ever dreamed of. Millions of Persians, Berbers, Copts, Arameans, Jews, Greeks, and others suddenly found themselves under Arab rule. Their languages and faiths were pushed aside. Coptic faded in Egypt. Aramaic nearly died out. Even Persian was nearly erased until poets like Ferdowsi fought to keep it alive. Arabic became the dominant tongue, Islam the dominant faith. That was not liberation - it was occupation on a scale that reshaped entire continents. The Mongols came and went in about a century. The Romans ruled for centuries, but Latin disappeared from the Middle East. The British Empire held sway for 200 years, then collapsed. The Arab-Muslim conquests? It changed the identity of entire nations forever. Think about it: Egypt was Christian and Coptic-speaking for 600 years before the Arabs came. Today it is Arab and Muslim. North Africa was Berber and Roman. Today it is Arab and Muslim. The Levant spoke Greek and Aramaic. Today it speaks Arabic. Even Spain lived under Arab rule for 700 years. That is not just an “occupation” - that is a civilizational overhaul. And yet, in 2025, our leaders - who are themselves the product of this massive Arab occupation, weep about Israel, a sliver of land the size of New Jersey, calling it “the worst occupation.” Really? Compared to what the Arabs did to North Africa, Persia, and the Levant? Compared to the centuries-long Arab rule that erased identities, forced conversions, and remade entire regions? If we, Palestinians, want honesty, we must stop pretending that Israel invented occupation. The truth is bitter: we live in the shadow of the largest and longest Arab occupation in history. Blaming only Israel while worshiping our corrupt leaders who exploit this narrative is not justice, it’s cowardice. History matters. And if we don’t face it, we will remain slaves not to Israel, but to our own hypocrisy.

On the holiest day of the year we are attacked at a Manchester synagogue. Our children walk to school behind barbed wire protected by guns. Yet some still answer this atrocity with “what about…” This is my country, the sanctuary my grandfather found after surviving the Holocaust, promising freedom under the rule of law. Today I pray for the victims, thank the brave who responded and wonder if that promise is fading. A community this small cannot stand alone. If you believe in Britain (wherever you’re from & whatever your faith) you must stand with us. Many Jews cannot imagine a future here and history tells us what follows when that happens.

Qatar says the plan is good. Saudi Arabia says the plan is good. Turkey says the plan is good. Egypt says the plan is good. So do Pakistan, Indonesia, Jordan, and the Europeans. Now look at those who say it’s not good—and ask yourself: are they really motivated by concern for the Palestinians, or just by old-fashioned Jew-hatred?
