@AriaAltairVT What's worse is I think most of these conversations are with the same person or people in a call center. It's always the same neon shield pitch, or I go check their art and there's no consistency in style of work, implying Ai.

This is SO frustrating. Every now and then I'll get a DM from someone being super friendly, asking a bunch of questions about how long I've been VTubing, what my goals are, how content creation is going, etc. And then, without fail, it transitions into: "I have an idea for your content..." Which somehow always turns into: "Would you like to commission me?" Like please 😭 If your end goal is to pitch me a service, just be upfront about it. I'd rather get a direct business message than feel like I'm having a genuine conversation that was actually a sales pitch the whole time.

So true man. I'm not even a vtuber (but I would like to be) and it happens to me too. What's worse is I'm pretty sure they're Ai generating artists cos they freaking suggest the same idea of shield with neon colours. 😑 Meanwhile I can make crap like this for free.
