@SofiaD_APL @Sinister_Sophia @Mantispie @musllaq It's not our fault you haven't bothered to differentiate different tendencies. I could say "Marxists advocate for permanent revolution" given the amount of Trotskyists I've talked to, and you would likely take issue with that.
English

@Sinister_Sophia @Mantispie @musllaq Ive heard so many variations of what anarchists want. This is by at least a popular enough view that it is worth refuting
Im honestly not trying to get into a dog-fight — i do irl organizing w/ anarchists all the time. Im just explaining why I disagree w/ a major pillar of it.
English

I have not seen any actual argument for why Anarchists are supposedly fascists or nazis.

@liuzhao_cn @CompteRestanque @lyrasie And then western anti-imperialists fall for it and it's like "Buddy, that a national myth, we have those at home too".
English

@CompteRestanque @lyrasie Later I realized that claiming one's own country or culture is unique is the least unique thing in the world
English

you know i often mock dengists saying they believe china's socialist character derives from some mystical property immanent to the tao te ching or confucius, but this really takes the cake. "chinese people have a special soul and therefore dont have alienation"
tadano!🪄@x00ge_ii63
Althusser talks heavily about how alienation is a very western conception that relies on a pre-conceived western psychological framework of a subject-object duality to truly be meaningful, Mao stumbled to the same problem as his people really did not posses this idea
English

@Vvvvv171928272 Yeah and they clearly don't have a social media code of conduct given that they almost always come accross as easily triggered reactionaries. What's the point in a party if you don't build up discipline in your militants?
English

@finishline646 @DiodLeAnarchist And then, because apparently "rejection" and "affirmation" aren't enough contradictions for you, you threw in "Childish" and "Mature" like you're verbally explaining a yes chad meme.
English

@finishline646 @DiodLeAnarchist You sure could, but you haven't. All you've done is pointed to one of the vast number of points in which Anarchism and Fascism diametrically oppose each other on an abstract level and said "Woah, that's like a dialectic! Hegel! I sure am smart". But you haven't said anything.
English

@CrypticUrb5222 @DiodLeAnarchist There’s a clear dialectical relationship between childish rejection of the state and more mature affirmation of it.
English

@sans_solei1 @EcoTechBro You're the one that made unsupported accusations of moralism and now you expect @EcoTechBro to do the work of researching your arguments for you?
English

@EcoTechBro first google what people mean by "abstract social domination" [relevant authors on the lit: Mau, Bonefeld, Postone, Heinrich etc)
English

There's nothing abstract about it. It's very literal, and whether or not it's "bad" is irrelevant. It constitutes something working class people objectively struggle against. The social revolution will be overthrowing all your favorite "socialist" states as forcefully as the USA.
time's carcass@sans_solei1
stalinist failed to consider abstract social domination is le bad
English

@FreedomFlaming0 Of course they did, that's why Soviet citizens vetoed both the liberalisation of the economy and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, which is still around today as a bastion of socialist freedom.

@pravdasp @TheOrangeEleven "Unlike my corrupt bureacracy, which has an imperialist military."
English

You joke but I have to imagine Dooku revisionism is as a popular hobby among some Alliance people. Despite everything else very easy for his fans to say, “See, the Republic DID become a hyper authoritarian dictatorship ruled from the Deep Core. He was right!”

@AnarkYouTube If there are two things, I can claim intellectual superiority and win the argument by saying they're dialectical. You better pray there aren't two things when you argue with me.
English

@EcoTechBro Hey, if there are two things, I can claim intellectual superiority and call them dialectical. You better pray there aren't two things if you argue with me.

@ThomasC29008175 @HeavensHero I like the idea that he can just control sea life, but he hasn't trained his mind so his subconscious mind projects personalities on to them based on what he expects. That's why so many of them horny weirdos, and when he's killed, he's literally killed by his subconscious guilt.
English

@HeavensHero Are sealife sentient in the boys universe? How are they able to not only collectively hold a grudge but converge at a moment’s notice??

Deep became so fucking miserable and broken that Annie lost her killing intent toward him.
Brought him to the beach so he could be in an comfortable environment to talk things out, launched him in the water to calm him down and this is what happens, I get her reaction 😭
CineAstic@AmXCine007
She really had no idea tf was going on 😭😭😭
English

@EcoTechBro I kind of agree, but I also think that as class consciousness develops, it creates an ideological and ethical dimension that motivates workers to act in the interests of other workers even if it risks their own self interest.
English

International working class interest is not a product of Christian selflessness. It is in fact a consequence of pure self-interest.
Octavian 🇪🇺@posta_octavian
@rskhm__ The problem is the leftie assumption of some kind of general working class interest that crosses borders and nations and unites everyone. There's no such thing. Everyone's out for themselves and there's nothing wrong with that
English

@Greynxgga69 I think it should be pretty obvious that "feminism" is a very broad term at this point, and that someone who claims to be a marxist feminist is someone who is concerned with how class society generates gendered oppression, and how it affects working class women.
