@CryptoCabob This is OTA capture to disk, at which point the recovery tool goes to town in a similar fashion (I’d say) as a tool like Aircrack-NG is used against a handshake etc. So, dict/brute required. I’m only testing against my own known nodes.

Added another tool to the repo: Meshtastic-recover. It helps recover keys… you know, in case you forget them. It really is incredible what’s possible these days given time and effort. Might make for an interesting DEF CON talk if not already one. 🤔

This is a monster. With HackRF I can simultaneously monitor hundreds of Meshtastic channels across US presets (can’t quite fit all). Wider bandwidth SDRs should cover everything, and my laptop barely seems to care. Lots to confirm still.
