The market is grossly underexposed to the fan token ecosystem. Liquidity is starting to show up and arbitraging out some of the mispricings in the ecosystem. At the same time price moving higher is solidifying the the narrative going into the WC, creating a reflexive loop.

Sports fan token prices went up 85% in past 3 mos while crypto mkt went down >10%. Are fan tokens a new ponzi or a new paradigm? How web 3.0 may disrupt the $500 billion sports industry… or not 👇

@bimpf_ In fact, the harder the times the higher the need for an escape. It’ll be the largest event ever watched, by far. My thesis is that this catalyst has the potential to bring the fan token ecosystem to life.

@CryptoJeromeFR Don't you think the problems around human rights, the unusual time and other factors like high energy prices could contribute to a low interest for the World Cup? My impression is that no one is really hyped for the tournament.

Long $CHZ going into the World Cup Narrative follows price and builds a reflexive loop. Possible wealth effect spilling over to fan tokens shortly after. Im thinking 5-10x potential in some targeted names inside the ecosystem. No one has exposure to this theme. Axs vibe?

@bimpf_ For BTC, data suggests that the SoV narrative is still intact. price =/ utility

@CryptoJeromeFR I think the first use case could actually be the SoV function. It is desperately needed in these times, but ironically it doesn't work pretty good atm. Two other guesses what could be use cases: find market prices (despite price controls), transfer wealth (despite restrictions).

« Servicing » existing communities is much easier than trying to build one from scratch. The network effect potential is far greater and much more explosive. The market just needs to see a good first use case. What will this be ?

@bimpf_ 5 billion people are expected to watch the World Cup. Attention brings capital, capital brings price competition. Narrative will strengthen as price goes up, not the other way around. It's all about money flow. Most are just not looking at the right place.

Only networks still showing [relative] retail appetite are BTC and ETH. Everything else is just flatlining. tldr; alt/btc pairs more pain
