Let’s be very clear about this. The Straits of Hormuz being closed for months is a global humanitarian catastrophe larger than anything we’ve seen since World War II. Millions of people are going to starve to death. I want you to keep this in mind next time you hear “SPX up.”

This was definitely one of my biggest red pills in life. I always thought i was rational and logical and was objectively assessing reality. Once i realized everyone is compressing out 99.999% of the data and thus are operating almost entirely on bullshit core premises that make micro level rationality irrelevant, and thus that just believing what is most effective regardless of its truth value is not any less objective, i started doing that and my life has only improved every day since.

Pink are actual levels. When price closes in the red box, it's telling you, retest of above levels and then maybe new highs. If the level that creates the box does not hold, the "X", your immediate expectation is new swing lows. Smart to close for b/e or small loss. Smarter would have been taking profits at levels above and leaving some to ride.

I know I am not humble to say this, but I am a genius. I “know.” Today I speak with a certain level of confidence that matches my prodigious mind. But even I must manage my risk. Others talk as if they “know” when they do not. Focus on character, not small sample sizes.

There are periods where a single macroeconomic event overwhelms all technical price action or market internal data. If you’re exceptionally good at judging others for credibility and assessing domain expertise, it’s possible to spot them. Most should follow their own process.

The entire funded firm model operates much like an insurance company. Think about health or car insurance. The goal is to take in as many premiums that they can, and deny as many claims as possible. Now if you understand this model, you understand why they are constantly changing rules, payout limits, etc. If you show too much profitability, you get moved to a live account and eval banned. The entire industry is purely aligned with trader failure, and account churn. Their profit models allow them to float their claims (costs) month over month, as long as they can recruit more customers to churn. It's unsustainable. Competitors enter the space and they all slash their margins as low as they can until they get bought out, or go out of business. We are in this stage now. Customers become exhausted because costs to the firm are fixed and have little room to decrease. If customers actually understood that only 1-2% are ever getting a payout, they would just go the the casino instead (better odds). What I'm building will change all of this.

What is a better prop account, and which do you prefer? 10K account: $350 10K drawdown 10micro starting size (scale as you profit) 3K min profit target (3K cashout) 15K profit cap. No consistency rule. Or 150K account: $550 6K drawdown 10+ minis starting size. 9K profit target (3k cash out) 30% consistency rule.
