We are Oworo, not Kabba though people often mistake US for them. We are part of the Okun people, and we are the rightful owners of Lokoja, Our homeland. #okunvoice

@uchenlechi07 @Zorkason We don’t want It’ll cause more problems going forward than solve You know we the Yorubas have the wisdom of foresight, we don’t just look at issues from the immediate gain inherent but how it’ll play out in the long run. We know it’s a bad policy

@CryptoPerpule2 @Zorkason If a yoruba or hausa man born or lives in the east wants to contest and become governor, he should go ahead. That’s what is what Nigeria constitution says….

An Igbo man made it clear that Igbos are not indigenous to Plateau State. He also highlighted that many Igbos are born in Plateau State and have contributed immensely to its development, so they can be called Plateau people, while stressing again that Igbos are not indigenous there. This vindicates the narrative Igbos have always told Nigerians: Igbos do not claim other people's lands, but they can associate with you, develop your land, and be one of you without claiming it. This contradicts the negative narrative from some people of Agbero Republic, who claim Igbos want to dominate and take over their land, which is false. A real Igbo man will never claim your land; he will only love it, identify with you, and develop it. Igbos are good people who do not dominate others but contribute immensely wherever they find themselves.

@NewsCentralTV @ChidiOdinkalu Some of you in this comment section are so dumb but you are calling another person dull. Sewage management, waste management, pipe borne water, electricity and others are basic amenities that keeps a city like Abuja running, it lacks that. Low quality humans all over the place.

@akintollgate See what’s going on in Abia state, a little was washed away by the floods Some people would have called for the head of Sanwoolu if it was in Lagos rather they were even praising Otti that the flood was cleaner

FIVE-YEAR-OLD GIRL SWEPT AWAY BY FLOOD IN ABA, ABIA STATE A five-year-old girl, Melody Isaac, was swept away by flood during a heavy rainfall along Akpu road in Ogbor Hill, an area in Aba. The incident has raised fresh concerns about drainage infrastructure and flood safety.

Who is the commissioner for Environment in Abia ? If these flood issues affecting other major cities are important to us, we should hold the feet of appointees like how we do with Tokunbo Wahab in Lagos. I don’t even see Aba people complaining, spread the energy please!

In a heated TV exchange, journalist Rufai Oseni expressed strong disappointment in the Nigerian Bar Association, accusing it of practising micro-zoning and “Emilokan” politics. “I am very disappointed in the NBA. It is a big disgrace that a professional body can engage in this,” Oseni said. “You condemn politicians, yet you do the same thing boldly on national TV.” He described the development as hypocritical and a disgrace to the legal profession.

@oluwatitofolabi @ARISEtv Yes it’s a far cry from what it should be but it’s the best governed state in Nigeria since 1999 I do call out LASG every now & then but go out of Lagos and see what the level of pitiable governance exist out there then you’ll appreciate LASG

@CryptoPerpule2 @ARISEtv 1. I'm a Lagosian and which a lot of Yoruba people are NOT😂 2. For political reasons (especially Tinubu worshippers) Lagos is always used as a poster boy but the state is still a far cry from what a proper city should be. 3. This discussion is about Nigeria not Lagos.

The Money of the Poor Is With Their Government, But They Are Asking Individuals to Share Personal Funds With the Poor - Fayose The federal and state governments are holding onto billions; they can lend money to people at free interest rates if they want to help. Instead, the government is using public funds to buy jets. Isaac Fayose, Social Commentator

@CryptoPerpule2 @ARISEtv Who are those getting anything from that Trust Fund, your guess is as good as mine? Truth is, even if Lagos already has such program, Lagos is not the only State we have in the country. And how transparent and accountable is the program? Our govt need to do more.

@CryptoPerpule2 @ARISEtv That if for Instance Govt in each State is to give 1Billion as grants or non-interest loan to people in the states with 5m to 10m, and do that consistently for 4 to 8 years, a significant number of people in this country would be out of poverty. That's a very brilliant point.
