“Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has continued to face criticism from some residents and political observers over his performance since taking office. Critics claim that since being sworn in as governor, they are yet to see what they describe as a major project commissioned under his administration.
Many Ebonyi voices making comparisons point to former governor turned minister, Engr. David Umahi, whom they credit with massive infrastructure development, road projects and visible transformation across the state during his tenure. According to these critics, the state handed over by Umahi was on a strong development path, but they believe Governor Nwifuru has struggled to sustain that pace. Some dissatisfied citizens have even tagged him the “worst governor,” questioning his handling of the state and expressing disappointment over the direction of governance.
Interestingly, amid the criticisms and growing debates around his administration, Governor Francis Nwifuru has now emerged as the consensus candidate for re-election, a development that has generated fresh reactions and conversations across Ebonyi State.”

These pictures of Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, have made me deeply concerned. Should the people of Finland be concerned as well?
Yesterday, President Stubb met with Agnes Callamard (@AgnesCallamard), the Secretary General of Amnesty International; a principled woman who has consistently condemned the Nigerian regime for torture, genocide, and the extrajudicial killings of Biafrans and Nigerians.
In the photos President Stubb took with her (see frames 1 & 2), he appeared unusually unhappy, and it was difficult to see any genuine smile on his face. But compare that to frames 3 & 4, where he is pictured with the head of terrorists. There, Stubb appears relaxed, cheerful, and comfortable.
Why does he seem uncomfortable with a woman who opposes atrocities, yet visibly happy in the company of the founder of Boko Haram?
A few months after taking that photo with the Boko Haram leader, H.E. Simon Ekpa, the Prime Minister of the United States of Biafra, was "arrested" by Finnish authorities alongside four other Biafrans.
They were not only forcibly and unlawfully taken away, but also subjected to torture, intimidation, and severe psychological trauma. H.E Simon Ekpa was later sentenced and jailed based on evidence allegedly supplied directly to Finland by Boko Haram; a grave violation of Section 7 and Section 9 of the Finnish Constitution, Articles 3, 5, 6, 10, and 18 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), Articles 1, 4, 6, 47, and 48 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, as well as the United Nations Convention Against Torture (UNCAT) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), all of which prohibit torture, unlawful detention, politically motivated persecution, and the denial of a fair trial and due process.
Is this merely a coincidence? Does the Finnish President have direct links to Boko Haram or work alongside them in some capacity?
Again, I ask: should the people of Finland be worried?

“I don’t know where people are getting all this energy to push prøpagånda against IPOB in the South East. Any kidn@pping rescue operation I’ve been involved in, after posting the video, the next narrative that starts circulating is that IPOB members were responsible. Whereas, I always hire Hausa and Fulani people to help me communicate on the phone with those kidn@ppers. What do people gain from lying to the public?”
