@CryptoRambo1987 @Topstep After your first withdrawal you would have a $2000 balance. If you have 5x $150 days (5x150=1250) You make an additional $1250, so the total would be 3250. You can then withdraw 50% of that balance, so you can request $1625

Just a honest review, opinion & a question to @Topstep @dotjosh & @MichaelPatak . 1 > The new Octagon program is great, but not better than the older one. 2> How can a trader having 2k dll possibly compete with a guy having a 30-50-100K$ stack sitting right after his live move and huge reserves? 3> i made around 20K$ in the last one month thats a 200% return on my 10k$ starting balance. Possibly more than these guys, but still ill lose to them as they account for Absolute PNL rather than ROI on a live?

As someone still trading the legacy accounts, it is absolutely NOT worth buying and investing into just because of the cheaper price. The time line from payout approval to hitting your account is the worst in the industry and is honestly deplorable. My last payout was submitted on June 17, it took 10 business days just to move from pending to approved and to this day still has not reached my bank account. Mind you that’s 10 days I couldn’t trade those accounts because if you take a loss and get below the minimum balance, they will deny your payout and you’ll have to wait another 8 days with 5 profitable days to request again.

@wannabechamp that’s the sole reason I’m still stuck in phase one for like 4months now. I’m tired tbh.

Prop firms make traders think 10% is normal. It isn’t. For most traders a 10% return can take months, not weeks. Challenges and social media create unrealistic expectations. Take trading slowly. Passing a challenge might take months. Stop chasing unrealistic numbers.

The game is never over in trading That’s why I love it There will never be a time in your trading career when you can just ‘coast’, do nothing and still make money The markets are always changing - and there are traders who’ve been profitable for 20+ years who become unprofitable again You have to always be learning, adapting and practicing if you want to be a good trader over a long timeframe Which is great, it means it never gets too boring

@t0mbfx I don’t know about you. But I’ve never had a losing month. Jokes aside… If you think you can be in the green every month, you shouldn’t be a trader.

If you think you can make 5-10% a month consistently forever you are mistaken Sometimes you’ll have multiple positive months in a row Sometimes you’ll have multiple negative / break-even months in a row You might even have negative years - I’m yet to experience this since becoming profitable but it’s always possible for a trader This is why you should be saving most of your trading / prop firm profits Don’t be spending money like an idiot since trading isn’t as consistent as you think it is
