@IrishWave_ I mean backtest DOTS as in through AI/python/Claude - using it as a confirmation entry model for your setups. I don't think you can do that with DOTS can you?

I stress-tested the ALN overnight session patterns across 17 years of NQ data. Three setups — one bullish, one bearish, one neutral. I charted how often the London low breaks first in NY, split by where price sits in the London range at 8:00 AM ET. The three lines almost perfectly overlap. The overnight pattern barely moves the odds. The 8AM location is what predicts the session: → Price in the bottom 25% of the range → London low breaks first ~85% of the time → Price in the top 25% → London high breaks first ~85% Built on the ALN framework from @nqstats — this just adds an 8AM placement filter on top. I use London DOTS (Pre Market version of the DOTS) as a timing mechanism/momentum filter to trade in direction of the Stats.

7 months ago I didn’t even know what trading was. Today I’m floating $2k on a Friday morning while sitting at softball lessons with my daughter. Still feels unreal sometimes, but this is what happens when you stay consistent, study, take losses on the chin, and keep showing up every day. Slow motion better than no motion. Trying something new on Live Stream: $500 Live account trading 1 micro #NQ. Why? Because ANYONE can open a $500 with their first #simfunded #payout and transition themselves #liveTrading. +$100 for the day, so now its a $600 account, and onto tomorrow! Take control of your destiny, and make the transition for yourself. Today was a prime example of trading with #TheDots (shorts while red, longs while green), adding in #NYSE and #GLOBEX session anchored #VWAP's for further positive expectancy. 20% gain on an account in a day is a lot - and much more than you should shoot for... HOWEVER with a 9.3 sharp ratio, and never risking more than 80 ticks (20 points) this is what it looks like to crush market price action when your trades on average only last 1.5 minutes. This is also what it looks like to aggressively trails stops, and truly not let winners become losers. Every single trade had a stop. Trading futures involves risk and is not suitable for everyone, these are not trade recommendations, they are simply my own trading and being shared with you for education purposes.

+5.5pts on NQ. Took this force sweep trade. You'll see a clear break of the 10 minute opening Globex orb with multiple 1-min candle closures below. Next, there was a quick move to the VWAP where I entered my short. I got out early because price just keep holding around VWAP instead of going to my target of 29475, near band 2. @SithHaters didn't have his live stream today so I applied what I learned so far. Give him a follow to learn the Globex opening 10 minutes ORB trade, otherwise known as the force sweep. In his live stream yesterday, no trade, which was good because he gave good tips on when not to execute the setup.

ha - leave me out of this, man -- i like dodgy and want no beef with him - but we were live with topstep in 2011. i wish we were as smart as he is leaning into the social media side of trading rather than working at actual prop firms after that. I didnt foresee it becoming what it has become. missed the boat! @TylerG_Capital you need to broker peace between Sith and @DodgysDD -- only you can do it!

exposing myself?! kind of like making a video about how your stop loss wasn't hit when the market traded through the level you told everybody your risk level was that? the fact you even had to make that video to justify to anybody how you didn't get stopped is exactly my point... NQ morning V-reversal study — 17yr backtest: Q2 (10-12 ET) sweeps below the 8-10am low → reverses up through the 8-10am high. Afternoon takes out the Q2 high 77% of the time (N=283). Layered two filters: • +1σ above prior close at noon → 84% (momentum confirms) • Range already > 60-day ADR by noon → 64% (exhaustion hurts) Volatility ≠ direction. The setup wants confirmation from where price *is*, not how much it's already moved. @IrishWave_
