Today, I am delighted to announce that @quantnetwork has been selected, alongside @inside_r3 as a technology provider for the UK’s Regulated Liability Network led by @UKFtweets and supported by @EYnews The UK RLN is envisaged as a common ‘platform for innovation’ across multiple forms of money, including existing commercial bank deposits and a shared ledger for tokenised commercial bank deposits. Working with commercial banks and payment networks, RLN will explore the interoperability of all forms of money, test new payment flows for users to make payments, and transact and settle liabilities in tokenised and non-tokenised commercial bank money fit for the increasingly digital marketplaces of the future. Quant’s involvement is focused on enabling programmability and interoperability across different forms of money by delivering the orchestration and API layer to the project with its Overledger platform. We look forward to seeing how this transformative initiative will help to progress the UK’s financial infrastructure. let's not forget the tech treasures we already have. $QNT and $MNW are not just playing in the blockchain sandbox; they're building bridges between the shiny new world of DLT and the rich, varied landscape of existing technology. Imagine Quant's "Overledger" and Morpheus Network's "Black" as your tech-savvy friends who make sure everyone at the party gets along. They're not about ditching old gadgets for the latest models but about making sure everything works better together. It's like having a universal remote that not only controls your smart TV but also dims the lights and orders pizza, all in harmony. From the complexities of blockchain to the nuts and bolts of supply chains, these platforms are making sure that blockchain doesn't end up as a solo act. Instead, it's part of a tech supergroup, hitting all the right notes together with existing and emerging technologies. It's about creating a future where all our tech tools sing in chorus, exploring new possibilities. Whether it's making global trade smoother with Morpheus or connecting different tech worlds effortlessly with Quant, the path forward is about bringing things together. The future of blockchain is looking bright, especially when it walks hand in hand with the tech we've grown to love.

Its no secret this space is driven by blockchain. After all, it's what birthed Bitcoin & 1000s of dApps in this space. But one thing we forget to consider is all the other tech in our world today to connect with the future of blockchain. $QNT & $MNW have NOT forgotten this core piece in allowing synergy in our technological systems. Since the birth of computer systems, we've created an endless array of technologies that have benefitted our lives and the world in various ways. From simply allowing more convenient procedures, to greater benefits of efficiency in technology. A simple example of this could be like the birth of emails to allow for instant message transfer as opposed to physical mail. In a more sophisticated approach, this is seen in modern logistics systems as opposed to physically checking every procedure with manual labour. Not to mention all of the great benefits that cloud technology and FinTech has brought us! Theres a common trend that we've noticed with most waves of disruptive technology. A better technology doesn't mean that it's going to replace all existing systems. Rather it's mean to be a supplement overtop of everything we've already built. We don't throw away hammers & screwdrivers just because we have power tools today. Rather we use it in synergy with power tools giving the appropriate tools their own times to shine! This is what both Quant & Morpheus Network aim to do with the evolution of blockchain. The most interesting part is that neither of these are exactly what you'd consider DLT native. Quant's utility is brought by their operating system/API gateway titled "Overledger". Morpheus Network brings connectivity in their middleware platform titled "Black". With Overledger the main focus is to connect all of our legacy technologies and other blockchains to blockchain networks. In other words, it's an agnostic form of interoperability. This is essential as mentioned above about the need for different technologies to synergize together. What sets them apart from traditional DLT interoperability solutions is exactly that fact. Prior to this much of the DLT space's focus of interoperability was around blockchain to blockchain. This is obviously important to establish the ability for different blockchains to work together. But one might argue the need for blockchains to operate with other technologies is even more essential! After all, without this capability we'd just have another siloed database. This is all made possible thanks to the Overledger APIs which enable for different technologies to find common language within each other. In doing so, it doesn't just allow for different technologies to communicate, But it enables the possibility of multi-chain applications which are similar to blockchain dApps but can be deployed on multiple chains & technologies. Greatly enhancing potential utility & access of blockchain for businesses & individuals. This case was especially highlighted from the BIS & BoE testing for Project Rosalind. In this proof of concept, they showcased the ability for developers from Bank of Canada, Amazon, Barclays, Revolut & more to build applications overtop of the CBDC layer. These applications would then be accessed by retail users and the APIs would relay messages across to the central bank layer with the CBDCs. In doing so it allowed for a harmonized environment where all parts of the CBDC ecosystem had a personalized experience fit for them. Retail had full access and control of how they wished to use and program their money, SMEs & businesses could build on the service API layer for FinTech applications to be used by retail, Central banks had their own layer where the CBDCs lived and could easily be monitored. On the other hand, Morpheus Network is aiming to do similar for the supply chain industry. One could argue the solutions of Morpheus Network are quite similar to Quant, though theres one key difference. The interoperability provided by Quant is as universal as it could possibly get & it's even at the standards level. But what makes Morpheus Network a perfect supply chain interoperability solution is how it's desgined. Fundamentally Quant can be seen as a blank canvas. Anything you imagine you can draw to life, Whereas with Morpheus Network one could look at it moreso like a predesigned home where you're able to modify and customize to your liking. The infrastructure of the home is already there. Rooms, doors, showers, toilets, you name it. In Morpheus Network's case this would be the equivalent of different essential parts of the supply chain already being implemented in the solution. These would include things such as: • Logistics providers like FedEx/UPS • Payment systems like SWIFT & AccessPay • DLT payments like Ripple/Stellar • ERP & CRM tools like Dynamics & Salesforce • Databases like Oracle The supply chain infrastructure for Morpheus Network is ready to plug and play right out the box! Whereas with Overledger it's much more catered to being a blank canvas anyone can integrate different tech into & begin building interoperable applications. This is not to say one or the other is better. But rather that Morpheus' Black is a tool thats specifically built to fit the supply chain industry. The Black platform is able to connect different blockchains regardless of permissions for supply chain managers to begin leveraging blockchain in the most complete manner. Prior to this the large majority of blockchain based supply chain solutions have been siloed. As this is normally presented by L1 networks, more often than not it silos the rest of the supply chain. Not Morpheus Network though! As described, in Morpheus Black's case all of the supply chain counterparts are already put in place & any enterprise can easily integrate their legacy tech with blockchain in just a few clicks. This is further expanded in their ability to even connect IoT and RFID systems to their middleware. In doing so it creates a digital twin of the physical supply chain by verifying every step of the logistics cycle. From shipment, quality control, payments, freight, all the way until it's delivered at the designated location. Neither of these two are blockchain based solutions. Their use case isn't exactly derived from being built on top of blockchain technology. But rather their utility further underpins the ability for blockchain adoption through the consideration of connecting other legacy solutions. As great as blockchain is, it's not looking to replace all of the technology we've built. This is the RIGHT way forward about DLT adoption.
