They said they were going to shut it down and they did. There are empty roads in Dublin today as farmers and truckers block up the city. Meanwhile, the government has sent out to the gardaí to try and shame the protestors for "restricting movement." The same gardaí who stopped people attending funerals a few years ago as they enforced a nationwide lockdown because of the flu. This state tactic will not be successful. The people of Ireland stand with our farmers and truckers.

This video really upset me. The poor boy clearly didn’t want to fight, but the other kid was determined to be a bully. This is exactly the problem, we’ve become too complacent and just accept this kind of behaviour. Especially among young people, who feel they can’t or won’t speak up or do anything without immediately being labelled racist. We need to FIGHT BACK!

The government is getting tetchy because they know what they're doing is against what the majority of people want. Over €1 Billion for the arms industry, not for people struggling. Further integration with the old imperialist powers of Britain and France, and closer to NATO.
