this crypto bear market feels materially worse than the 2018 bear market in 2018 sentiment was shit, but at least nobody else was winning: stocks were also flat, nobody cared about metals this time feels hopeless because everyone long frontier tech stocks is making generational money everyday, while crypto traders are getting liquidated for the umpteenth time catching knives on down-only charts the "everybody is getting hilariously rich and you're not" meme is playing out for everyone who's heavily allocated to crypto, and it absolutely sucks

#Bitcoin crashing down in the final days of the month is relatively standard. Almost every month in 2026, it's up only until the 14-17th, and then we're going back down for the remainder of the month. May isn't different. The only difference: some altcoins have shown more resilience than Bitcoin and continued to go up despite the weakness on Bitcoin itself. Other than that, if things do play out like they have been doing in the previous months, we'll start to see a bottom in Bitcoin today or tomorrow and reverse back up towards atleast $77K in June.

Crypto’s next move seems pretty obvious. Right now all markets are soaring. The SP500, Nasdaq, Kospi ,Nikkei etc… At the same time Bitcoin isn’t moving. It’s almost inevitable that stock markets correct “soon” and when they do there is no world where crypto doesn’t follow. What’s the thesis for buying now?
