Ever since I stopped drinking, I don’t break out (this is my no-makeup face) and I’ve stopped putting on undesired weight.
Outside of just the physical wins, I also have no trouble waking up or going to sleep, and even after social events my mental clarity is peak.
There’s truly no downside to removing alcohol from your life.

I never drank regularly throughout my life but after recently being the primary care giver for a person close to me in detox from addiction, their next of kin through rehab, and then ultimately losing them again to it all - I hate alcohol so, so much. When I see marketing campaigns for alcohol with smiling faces and laughing carefree people, it seems insidious and evil because all I see is struggle and pain.
