BREAKING NEWS: ADA COULD BE USED AS COLLATERAL TO BORROW STABLECOINS 🙀🙀 @coinbureau says Cardano may use $ADA as collateral in DeFi to borrow stablecoins and buy Bitcoin no selling required. If the loan-to-value stays low, there will be almost zero risk of liquidation, meaning Cardano could accumulate hundreds of millions in $BTC quietly while preserving its native token. What do you think about this strategy?

Having overseen a Cex and one of largest OTC desks in Asia; Charles is correct. It can be done, over a period of time, utilising multiple desks and strategies with minimal impact on ADA price. It is not a market sell of $100mm of ADA. ADA is a top 10 token with a 20+bn market cap. And I believe the liquidity injection of stables into the Cardano ecosystem would be a net positive. @AnzensOfficial has already agreed to giving back to the Treasury and reducing fees to help enable this. I believe $usdm would be willing to do so as well. This is a net positive and frankly diversifies Intersect’s Treasury risk as it is currently a single asset. From experience, it can be done. And imho, it is the responsible thing to do.
