People have very different perspectives of markets based on the information they are exposed to. The Twitter algo overcorrects into new trends very quickly nowadays so it looks to CT people that, for example, pokemon must be topping because certain personalities are suddenly chasing it. There are a dozen gacha sites and it's been going on for months now, so it must be late. But on the non-crypto collector side of things, smpratte (OG, very knowledgeable) mentioned gacha sites for the first time this week in his market update. Pokemon is the biggest brand in the world and has been building 30 years now, it is not a shitcoin that tops overnight. Your perception of the market is not the reality of the market because you do not have perfect information.
