Today we’re expanding our support for @HyperliquidX by becoming the platform’s official treasury deployer of USDC. Onchain markets operate 24/7 and require collateral that is always available, instantly transferable, and deeply liquid - USDC delivers exactly that. Alongside this, we’ve also significantly increased our position of staked HYPE.

I thought hyperliquid would be similar to binance and that itll have a bybit and various other exchanges thatll do well along side it but think it may become more of a robinhood that has 10 different verticals of revenue where they basically dominate everyone else to the point nobody can compete, what is the bybit to robinhood comparison? feels like it doesnt exist we're already seeing this with wallets, basically every crypto wallet now has HL integrated as their default perp relayer / choice theres probably another 20 startups that were supposed to do something with stocks onchain / stock perps and hip-3 finished off most of those TradeXYZ just today added pre-ipo markets which basically takes out ventuals entire platform and hip-4 (prediction markets) will polish off anyone not named polymarket and maybe kalshi

BTC Short Term Holder Supply in Profit just hit a local peak and is now rolling over. As we can see in the chart, this tends to precede a market correction. Why? It tends to happen in a down-trending bear market, when BTC rallies back to the short-term holder cost basis (currently $79k) As the price converges into these areas, investors who entered the market in late '25/early '26 (who have seen their holdings go negative during this period) get a little relief. In some cases, they get back to breakeven. So they sell. On the other side, exuberant "dip buyers" provide the liquidity. --- It doesn't mean we have to drop from here. But this activity, in conjuction with the fact that BTC recently went into "overbought" territory on the RSI, and has been unable to push through $80k (even with Saylor purchasing billions of BTC) means the current move *could* be nearing an end. We shared a full update on market structure, macro, and portfolio strategy today with readers of @the_defi_report If you'd like to access the latest research (currently offering one month free), see the link below 👇

S&P Dow Jones Indices and trade[XYZ] have joined forces to launch the first official S&P 500 perpetual contract, available exclusively on Hyperliquid. For 69 years, the S&P 500 has been a defining reference point for global finance. Until now, access to that benchmark has been shaped by market hours, intermediaries, and geography. Today, that changes. The S&P 500 perp is now available 24/7/365, anchored by the official index data required for deep liquidity and institutional confidence at scale.  SPDJI helped define modern indexing. They are stewards of an iconic benchmark, the standard against which portfolios across the globe are measured. We are honored to bring that legacy on-chain. Trade[XYZ] is bringing the world's most iconic assets towards a future of global, continuous markets — a future powered by Hyperliquid.

wow Anthropic just published a crazy report on AI replacing your job and er... you might want to look at this: - #1 most at-risk jobs are computer programmers, financial analysts (rip excel bros) and customer service - most at-risk workers are female, white, older and higher paid. - BUT high-risk jobs *aren't* firing employees... they've STOPPED HIRING. biggest victims: college graduates (4X more likely to be fucked) - entry-level hiring has dropped 14% since chatgpt launched (for highest risk jobs) - SAFEST jobs are... bartenders, dishwashers and lifeguards - any manual labour that AI can't automate (yet) this accounts for 30% of the job market. - this was the scariest part: AI models are capable of automating most work TODAY but are prevented because of law and slow company adoption. so its not even a fucking skill issue its an ADOPTION issue. - now its important to understand that the study is based on real world data but also 'theoretical' intelligence. so take it with a pinch of salt. some jobs (manual labor) didn't even meet min. data reqs i applaud anthropic on being so damn transparent - they're literally the company behind claude who will be responsible for these impacts studies like this will help us figure it the hell out. LOT of change coming this year.

Gold and Silver have done over $20B in volume on Hyperliquid over the last 10 days It's also reached ~1% of COMEX's combined daily volume in the last 2 days For context, this ratio was <0.1% just two weeks ago. Slowly then all at once. Hyperliquid.

Silver did ~$3B in volume on Hyperliquid today. Meanwhile, the CME traded 275k contracts (~$130B notional). Hyperliquid just captured ~2% of the world's primary silver market for an asset it listed 30 days ago. Insanity.

There's almost 1b of volume for Silver perps on Hyperliquid. This single market would provide over 100m of total revenue with a normal fee structure. Currently metals are hot, but in the future, it could be Korean or Chinese stocks, bonds, etc. Hyperliquid is able to provide access to every market in the world. IBKR (one of the best performing stocks) has the same value proposition. Also in a world of AI agents, trading on Hyperliquid has the least friction (no KYC, just need USDC and a wallet).

California's Central Valley produces 80% of the world's almonds. Each almond requires 3.2 gallons of actual irrigation water to grow. Not rainfall. Actual tap water pumped from aquifers. One gallon of almond milk requires 162 gallons of irrigation water. Compare that to dairy milk at 8 gallons of tap water per gallon, with the rest being rainfall that falls on pasture anyway. But here's where it gets properly grim. Almonds bloom for exactly three weeks in February. During those three weeks, California needs every pollinating bee in North America transported to the Central Valley or the crop fails entirely. Commercial beekeepers truck in 31 billion honeybees. That's two-thirds of America's entire managed bee population, all concentrated in one valley for three weeks. The bees are packed into trucks, driven across the country, dumped into almond groves drenched in pesticides, worked to exhaustion, then packed up and shipped to the next crop. The mortality rate is catastrophic. Beekeepers report losing 30 to 50% of their hives annually. That's billions of bees dead. Not from natural causes. From being used as disposable pollination machines for your almond milk. The pesticides don't help. Almond groves are sprayed with neonicotinoids which scramble bee navigation systems, fungicides which weaken their immune systems, and herbicides which eliminate the wildflowers they'd normally forage on between almond blooms. Meanwhile the aquifer depletion is permanent. The Central Valley has sunk 28 feet in some areas from groundwater extraction. That water took 10,000 years to accumulate. It's being drained in decades for almond milk. Your vegan latte killed more bees and used more water than a year's worth of dairy milk. But it's got "plant-based" on the label so you're definitely saving the planet.

If you invented a machine that: - Runs on grass - Produces high-quality protein - Fertilises soil while operating - Builds topsoil - Requires zero electricity - Self-replicates - Provides 100+ byproducts (leather, tallow, gelatin, etc.) You'd win every environmental award. We call it a cow and want to ban it. Genius.

One last note on the Fear & Greed Index When people encounter the Fear and Greed Index in their feeds, they typically operate under a straightforward assumption: • low index values predict positive future returns • high index values predict negative future returns In other words, the index functions as a mean reversion indicator: when markets are overbought (extreme greed) or oversold (extreme fear), people expect that prices will revert toward the mean from these extremes. This is a hypothesis we can test. We can examine actual returns following extreme index readings. An easy and fast way to do this is to plot returns against index values and visually inspect the relationship. Under our mean reversion hypothesis, we would expect to see: • low index values: data points clustering top left • high index values: data points clustering bottom right The results reveal a lot of noise, but also a pattern, particularly in extreme greed territory: the indicator frequently fails during trending markets. When you trade based on overbought or oversold signals, you're essentially positioning against the prevailing trend. In practical terms, this means buying too early in downtrends and selling too early in uptrends. Instead of confirming our hypothesis, we not only find considerable noise but sometimes even the opposite of what we would expect to happen. Obviously, you can discuss how this approach could be slightly tweaked to improve performance. Criticism is welcome, as always. My point is: this is a metric influencers love to hype, but as the chart shows, it’s mostly just noise :)
