No soy muy dado a hacer posts de este tipo, pero quiero que se entienda como una respuesta desde el respeto que le tengo a Eric desde hace tiempo y más aún después de conocerlo en persona. Parto diciendo que mi portafolio es un 35-40% $HYPE, por eso me duele ver a un compatriota como Eric soltando FUD contra @Lighter_xyz justo cuando miles de hispanohablantes (de España e Hispanoamerica) están celebrando 5 o 6 cifras gracias al que, para muchos, ha sido el mejor airdrop de 2025. ¿Ni un día para disfrutar? Hiciste Historia con Hyperliquid y te ganaste el respeto de toda la comunidad hispana, yo el primero; pero ahora lo hemos hecho otros en este ayudando a toda la comunidad hispana a hacer pasta otro año más. CAMPAÑA ORQUESTADA CONTRA LIGHTER Si tienes ojos, lo ves a leguas. Pero ese tipo de campañas suele ser gasolina para proyectos sólidos y transparentes como Lighter, que ha hecho las cosas bien desde el principio y ha aportado aires renovados al ecosistema crypto y a los perps. No habla Eric como tal, sino el miedo colectivo de los .hl a perder parte del pastel (que no del trono) porque considero que le pertenece y le pertenecerá a Hyperliquid. Y aparte del miedo, la codicia aunada a ese terror da como resultado esto. Hyperliquid acapara noticias solo de desbloqueos del equipo, y entiendo las cortinas de humo… pero cuando algo sobrepasa lo normal, la gente con mínimo conocimiento se da cuenta de que lo exacerbado es tan ridículo como lo que pretenden ridiculizar. Lighter lleva literalmente dos días con el token vivo y si el FUD más fuerte es por el MM… es que no tienen muchas más balas y tienen que sacar de donde no hay. EL SUPUESTO “PAGO” DE $24M NO ES UN PAGO RETROACTIVO El 30 de diciembre (TGE), se transfirieron ~9.28M $LIT a wallets ligadas a Jump. El FUD asume que fue un “pago retroactivo” por market-making (~$500k/día). Falso. Ayer Vlad lo aclaró todo en Discord: acuerdo pre-beta (finales 2024) para inyectar hasta $5M en liquidez al LLP, con riesgo real y sin datos de performance. Recompensa limitada (<10% del airdrop), separada de points por trading. Práctica estándar en perp DEXes (que Hyperliquid no lo haga no lo hace malo). Cero relación financiera o personal. Esto no fue airdrop “earned” por MM activity, sino alloc planeada. Solo ~324k LIT fueron a wallets nuevas (probables rebates reales); el bulk es loan para liquidez inicial, con devolución/vesting posterior. No es “pagar $500k/día” (cálculo absurdo basado en meses pre-TGE). Todos los proyectos usan token loans (2-5% supply) para bootstrapping. Aquí ~3.7% circulating, “barato” como admite el post original. En early stage, subsidiar MMs es normal para atraer retail flow. Una vez maduro, MMs pagan por competir en los aribitrajes y hacer que el modelo RH funcione (liquidations, funding). INCONSISTENCIAS EN NÚMEROS E INTERPRETACIÓN El post original dice: “De los 9.28M LIT, solo 323k fueron a wallets nuevas (likely por MM activity). Esto implica que Jump fue pagado los 9.28M enteros.” Salto lógico enorme. No hay prueba onchain ni anuncio que lo soporte. Especulación. Las últimas 5 wallets son pequeñas (~225k total, cerca de los 324k); las grandes van a cuentas principales: bulk del loan, no “pago por volumen”. Revenue de Lighter: se habla de $100-150k/día, pero Lighter genera vía liquidations, funding rates, ecosystem fees y falta confirmación del equipo de saber si los MMs y HFT cuentan en ese cálculo. Volúmenes post-TGE bajan en todos los launches (normal), no por “post-Jump”. Eric dice que los incentivos no se han ido porque está activa la Season 3. Incorrecto: el equipo solo dio un guiño de “se3 u soon” pre-TGE. Nada anunciado aún. Y aun con presión vendedora de +700M y ausencia de incentivo claro, ayer se hizo ATH en TVL. Pero no me centro en onchain aquí. LA NARRATIVA ZERO-FEE NO SE DESTRUYE Retail tradea gratis, MMs/HFTs compiten por flow. Pero en early stages TODOS subsidian MMs con loans para atraer volumen. Sin liquidez no hay retail. Jump generó ~mitad del volumen inicial, pero con loan es inversión en growth, no “pagar más de lo que ganas”. Bullish short-term (supply control), long-term holders ganan (staking, revenue share). Dilema “team/holders fucked”? Falso si es loan retornable. Ejemplo perfecto: Robinhood revolucionó brokerage con zero-fees + bootstrapping agresivo, y hoy bate récords. VIGAS Y PAJAS: LA AUTOCRÍTICA QUE FALTA Mi abuela decía que la mayoría ve la paja en ojo ajeno pero no la viga en el suyo. Lighter tiene dos días y ya hay ríos de bilis por X pero sin autocrítica al fracaso estrepitoso de la HyperEVM. Una vez más, @vnovakovski tenía razón: una L1 fuera de ETH es más bug que feature única. Salvo Solana (que ahora da pena), todas acaban en cero absoluto. Datos (no opiniones): TVL cayendo, volumen en DEXes ridículo, fees de protocolos pintan a caida libre clara. Ejemplos de “puntas de lanza”: HYBR, KINETIQ (-70%), PURR (-92%), BUDDY, SWAP, KITTEN, LIQD, BEAT (-77%), LENDX (-56%)… mayoría caídas +80%. HyperVault rug directo +$3.6M defraudados. Me jode como holder de HYPE, pero es la realidad. CONCLUSIÓN Este FUD confirma que Lighter está tocando fibras sensibles (por no decir otra cosa más grosera xD). Fíjate en la ironía: los fans de Hyperliquid, maximalistas sectarios con NFTs como amuletos de fe inquebrantable, actúan como el zorro pintando al lobo como villano —“¡cuidado, es feroz porque caza en territorios nuevos!”— cuando solo teme que le robe presas de su coto privado de conejitos. No me fío del zorro que difama al lobo competidor, ni de los hypur devotos atacando Lighter porque amenaza su monopolio (y sus fees que revientan al retail). Filosóficamente, es el clásico drama: miedo a la obsolescencia disfrazado de crítica constructiva. Pero en crypto el progreso nace del caos y la competencia real. Lighter no es mesías, pero su zero-fee con bootstrapping astuto es evolución pura, no “funny situation” de dilución fatal. Si el mayor “escándalo” es un loan estándar (como clickbaiteó onchain sin contexto), entonces lol. Los zorros gruñen porque intuyen que los lobos no huirán. Cuanto más se ladra, más miedo hay. Dos días. Esa es la vida que tiene Lighter. Planteaos si todo este FUD tiene sentido o es un gruñido desesperado por temor.
