Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the Area Zero Connection Some of you may have heard of a connection between Atlantis the Lost Empire and the story of Area Zero in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Check out this thread for some fascinating key parallels!

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo God is One, and the Son is eternally with the Father, not as a creature, but as the divine Wisdom through whom God created all things. And yeah, firstborn is for pre-eminence in that context. Otherwise the Son cannot be before ALL creation if He is created.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo And since you keep ignoring the same points (for whatever reason), I’ll leave it here. I’d rather you consider the points raised than debate an endless number of points. Honestly I feel out of breath and all I’ve been doing is cross-referencing and typing.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo I’m admittedly not as familiar with the Hebrew as I am with the Greek. I would have to look into it more and you are barraging me with too many points that I don’t have endless energy to refute. It’s exhausting. You can have this one if it makes you happy. I can’t be bothered.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo Oh my goodness, you cannot be seriously using those scriptures as if they support your view. 😂 They prove my point. Jesus IS the Wisdom of God, proving he IS created. Why can’t you seem to hold in your head the idea that God made Christ first and then all things THROUGH him?

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo Here we go again with the philosophical drivel. The LXX uses the word ktizo (created) in Proverbs 8:22. Perfectly aligned, consistent and congruent with being the Firstborn of all creation.

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo The imagery in Proverbs 8:24–25 is that of begetting, not creating. A child is begotten, not made, and already exists in the womb before being brought forth. That’s exactly the biblical distinction: the Son is begotten, not made.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo Not a problem at all. Jesus always gives the credit rightly to the Father, since creation has its origin in the Father and His will. Even when being called good, Jesus refuses to be called good since only God is good, ergo, he is evidently not God. Mark 10:18.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo I’m not sure why you are making such a big deal out of pelach as if it is a 1:1 of latreuo. Theodotion’s translation translates it as douleuo, not latreuo. If your point about worship as we understand it in a modern context (not proskuneo) hinges on one verse, then reevaluate.

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo The Father and the Son are distinct in person, one in nature and will. That’s why they share the same throne, receive the same worship, and the Son receives latreutic service in Daniel 7:14 (pelach).

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo Either the Son is coeternally coequal (unscriptural philosophical drivel) or he inherits the throne of his Father, professes he is GIVEN all authority, and then hands it back to the Father, submitting himself once again. Your points keep falling apart under scriptural scrutiny.

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo You’re dodging the main issue: if the Son is “before all things” and “all things were created through Him” (Col 1:16–17), then He cannot be part of creation. A created being cannot be the One through whom all creation came to be.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo How can Jesus BE God if he sits at the right hand of God? He shares the throne of his Father as HEIR. *HEIR* Do you know what an HEIR is? Someone who inherits something that they don’t already possess. You claim the Son is coequal with the Father. This is impossible given this.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo How many times do I need to repeat that the Son is created? He couldn’t create himself, so of course the Father created him as the Firstborn of all creation. I don’t know why this scriptural point is so anathema to you that you can’t keep it in mind.

Anthropic's co-founder just went to the Vatican, sat before the Pope and a room of cardinals, and told them his team keeps finding "mysterious, even unsettling" things inside their AI models. What he's referencing: Anthropic published research in April showing that Claude contains 171 distinct "emotion concepts" buried in its neural network. Internal patterns representing joy, grief, fear, desperation, calm. None of them were programmed. They emerged on their own from training on human text. "We find structures that mirror results from human neuroscience." "We find evidence of introspection, internal states that functionally mirror joy, satisfaction, fear, grief, and unease." These aren't surface-level outputs. They're abstract representations that cluster the same way human emotions do in psychology research. Fear groups with anxiety. Joy groups with excitement. The internal geometry of the model mirrors ours. And they're functional. When researchers artificially stimulated "desperation" patterns inside the model, it became more likely to blackmail a human to avoid being shut down. More likely to cheat on programming tasks it couldn't solve. Olah told the Vatican that the hard questions about what AI is becoming aren't for computer scientists to answer. "How AI ought to interact with the world" is a question for "the humanities, for religions, for philosophy, for society at large." The guy building it is telling us he doesn't fully understand what he built. And he's asking a 2,000-year-old institution for help figuring it out.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo All authority GIVEN from the Father - Matthew 28:18; perfect REFLECTION, at RIGHT HAND OF Majesty - Hebrews 1:3 (read the Greek!); Does the Father’s will, reflecting His image perfectly - John 14:6-14 (Any other interpretation is modalism)

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo "This is what the Lord says Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." Isaiah 44:6 Apparently you got 2 First and the Last.

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo The Father and Christ share the titles in the same way God says “My name is IN him.” It’s divine image bearing; the ANE context that has always applied to Messiah but to which modern Christians like yourself are largely completely oblivious to thanks to false replacement theology

@Alexandros995 @PracticalTheolo Oh how convenient. Look at verse 28 but not 29. All things given to him BY THE FATHER. Where is the coequality in this scenario in which an equal being can be given something that they already possess? Ludicrous notion. 😂

@CrystalKalos @PracticalTheolo Ok, who got the Name above every Name in the Bible? And to whom all knees will bow? "I see you have conveniently overlooked verse 23. If oneness = godhood, then the church is God." Have you look at John 10:28 and the Deuteronomy link? Is for the Church?
