On the back of last nights meeting, as CSC, we are aligned & support the unity of the fan groups and will continue to do so
Although there wasn’t a mandate for a Boycott of the @EuropaLeague or HCTS as a collective, our members, as a independent CSC, have chosen to boycott both

@hoopleheads_ Certainly agree, in isolation, it may not result in change. However maybe a half empty CP on a European night will potentially raise more awareness and result in a little momentum within the rank & file support to get involved pulling other levers that may initiate change?

@CscRising If I thought it would have any impact I would support you, but I don't think it will, it would take a complete failure of a season to even get them to make token changes at the top, even that won't really make a difference coz DD will still have absolute authority.

Our members have unanimously voted to boycott the Europa League as a small protest against the ownership, CEO & board of directors at Celtic!
1. No transparency or accountability.
2. Cronyism & nepotism throughout the club.
3. No communication or engagement with fans.

@hoopleheads_ This decision hasn’t been taken lightly from our members nor the committee of the CSC, whose love for Celtic would otherwise always see us want to attend game’s & support the team. This isn’t just about 1 season or the transfer window, rather the future of the club we all love 🍀

@CscRising I respect the will to effect change, but this discourse will fall on deaf ears and inevitably only end up impacting the players, if the mood around the club continues to worsen we truly are gonna be looking at another COVID season where players are just phoning it in.
