I'm a collector, I will continue to collect. I have no advice for anyone else outside of that - it is way too personal of a decision. I also caution taking advice from anyone acting like they confidently know what you should do, only a few hours after this update dropped. If you listened to them, you would have sold after rentable cases were released, or when the 10-day ban was added, or when the trade ban was first added, or when gambling sites were banned, when items were being duped or ....see the pattern?

This isn't trade protection. It's Valve getting their cut back. Valve saw that case sales were happening on 3rd party markets. So they decided to dissallow consuming of traded items for 7 days as a way to add value to buying directly from the Steam Market. Now if you want to consume cases quickly, you're forced to buy from the Steam Market, at a likely elevated price (compared to the same item on 3rd party sites) All under the guise of stopping scams. And the scams will continue nonetheless.
