Funny thing just happened. Only scorpios will understand how e sweet me😁 So months ago my company bid for a comms contract in Sierra Leone. We did not get it. That's not the bad part. The bad part is that no one bothered to respond to say “hey you were unsuccessful”. I followed up, more than once and no one responded. You see I was really passionate about this project. Beyond the money, the work they do has the potential to benefit so many people and I KNEW that working with me would amplify their impact. Anyway no wahala I moved on. Today, this company emailed me to ask if I could interview them on my podcast. HA! The same company that didn't have the time to respond to my bid to send rejection notice now wants my time. Shocked and dismayed to read report from @LamranaAmadu that Paran Umar Tarawally, lawyer and the Clerk of Parliament of Sierra Leone @clerkPOSL put his wife on the parliament’s payroll paying her about $1500 monthly. Mrs. Abi Tarawally also collected allowances and other benefits as Human Resource Officer at GoSL. As if that nepotism wasnt insult enough Mrs. Tarawally never ever came to work. She collected her monthly salary and benefits but work she did not do. If these allegations are true (which they appear to be cuz she already is paying back to the Anti-Corruption Commission) then the clerk should resign for abuse of office. Photos below of the honorable Tarawally and his wife were made available on Facebook. #sierraleone

I had a very lengthy albeit productive meeting with the Vice President of SUMMA and team few hrs ago on making FNA more competitive, thus reducing the cost of travelling to Sierra Leone. We agreed to review the existing agreement which of course will be for the mutual benefit of us all
