@OddishHime I think the philosophy behind the designs is probably more from a purest perspective. I feel like most casual fans will like what they like, regardless of the origins behind the design.

@Cubone_Skol I think it’s both inevitable and important to consider gens when talking about design bc what people forget is that each era has different design philosophies and intentions. Also most ppl can’t differentiate between bad design and something not being to their personal taste.
