@Ryblades27 Those contracts probably put them over the luxury tax threshold so I think it makes more sense if they acquire one of the SP instead of signing both Giolito and Montgomery. Totally agree that would be a nice offseason though!

110 pitches for James Paxton. Hasn't done that since April 16, 2019.
He has a 2.70 ERA and 0.94 WHIP through 9 starts and 10.9 K/9.
Huge trade chip if they go that route. Might be better to jump more sooner than later.
