@CurranBoP Authenticity is rare, especially in podcasting where people need to be likable to do well. Most people’s authentic selves aren’t that likable.

Dont make things personal but do voice your opinion if you disagree with someone. I dont particularly want or need to stick my oar in when everyone else is, all I will say is that I do not like the current podcast culture. Theres this innate desire to be a "calm voice" or "unbiased" to appear like a "good fan". That or the ragebait nonsense. Im not serious on here because the climate isnt there for actual engaging conversations. Monetisation doesnt lead to honesty. It leads to ragebait and pandering. At the end of the day its footy. Stop trying to be what you think people want. Be a fan ❤️

@afcamir11 We got too many 10/second striker players as it is. Ebs, (Arteta wants Ødegaard), Ethan, Max now... Kai can do either 10 or 9. Gyökeres is the full 9. We could use another big bloke if Jesus leaves. Someone to launch it to if we're under pressure would be cool.

Me too. For me if you spend that level of cash it's someone who's profile is perfect and doesn't limit you tactically. Alvarez can't play lone 9 in the PL and in this man to man game doesn't help us deal with that and I think he's more of a SS than a 9. Ebz can do that role as can Kai/Merino. That ain't worth £90 million.

The same people who fell for Gyokeres hype are falling for Alvarez hype. Take note.

Im so glad we're at home 2nd in the UCL until the final. I back us against anyone at the Emirates and its such a big advantage to be able to recover from whatever happens in the 1st leg in front of our fans, at our house. We gotta get to that final and then... we shall see.

Hes almost right, the stat is that no former player has won the premier league as a manager for the same club they played for. Mancini won it for City, he never played for City.

The worst was when Dave Jones kept trying to press Thierry into admitting he didnt like how we play. "But you dont like watching the team?" "But as a fan you have an opinion on the football?" Just trying the most to legitimise themselves by getting Thierry to rubber stamp it.
