I'm a huge fan of the HBR Ideacast podcast, so I was thrilled when @CurtNickisch asked me on to talk about building a business network, in part to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Heidi Roizen case :) more here: hbr.org/podcast/2024/1…

@Evanish Temi.com gives you the first for free. Have used them and Rev as well. Other providers make more sense with a lot of volume.

If I want to record audio to be turned into a rough draft of a blog post, what's the best AI tool I should be trying?

@CurtNickisch The South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum is developing an exhibit about agriculture during WWII. I found your article about German POWs. I have some questions. Could you DM with an email? Thank you!

"You don’t need to take outside investment. You don’t need to just focus on top-line revenue. You don’t need to screw over your employees so that you can make more profit. You can take a different approach." Hear @butcherbox founder @mikesalguero's story: hbr.org/podcast/2023/0…

Y'all. I'm on the hunt for your favorite written scene. No field tape. Just narration and quotes (maybe music). Something visual. Evocative. A written scene that demonstrates the power of writing in an audio story. Got somethin'?

So saddened by this news. For a long time, my relationship with NPR was my relationship with Ken Barcus. He was authentic and committed and probably only let me say windswept in a story once. The Midwest has lost a real voice. I’ll miss him.
NPR@NPR

Ken Barcus, longtime Midwest bureau chief on NPR's National Desk, has died at age 67. He took great pride in countering stereotypes of the Midwest and in mentoring scores of young reporters. n.pr/3ehl1GQ

Sad to hear news of Bill Russell passing. Amazing hoop talent. But so much more! Civil rights champion! Honored in 2018 at Lakota Nation Invitational during Grand March for his work on SD reservations. He made a positive difference for so many! A life well lived.

Applies to startups, too. A venture capitalist told me they look for 10% passion in customers as opposed to 90% above-average interest.

Hey @Twitter, you are doing a terrible job policing your platform when it comes to Ukraine. You are failing. Hundreds of sock puppet accounts attack every tweet that counters the Kremlin narrative, meanwhile you fall for coordinated campaigns to suspend genuine accounts.
