It really isn’t that It’s more that the ability to go flat out in the sections that made F1 so iconic to begin with are now management zones And yes, there’s always been elements of management in F1, and no system has been perfect, including and obviously DRS But this is the first time we’re seeing drivers massively lose pace on straights for no reason, ai energy deployment nonsense, not attacking the fast corners where the drivers make a ton of difference, look how much better Ferrari drivers have been at attacking high speed corners, but they lose huge gaps on the straight from battery life, it’s kind of just the anti thesis of what everyone has defined as F1 I think if they took away some of the dependency on battery and allocated that to the actual engine side you’d see massive improvements, qualifying laps would be better, racing would be less Yo - yoing etc The aero and chassis side have been could king though

Stop the war. Go back to Russia and get the hell out of Ukraine.
Russian Embassy in NL🇷🇺🇳🇱@rusembassynl

It seems @MinPres has no idea about the real story. A brief explanation: the Ukrainian people suffer because of EU policies. Brussels makes money on this conflict and has no interest in peace. It’s time to drop the childish rhetoric and face the real world. Stop the escalation!

I am grateful to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands for such a symbolic visit – coming to Ukraine almost immediately after beginning his work at the head of the new Government. I informed Rob Jetten @MinPres about the situation on the battlefield and about the Russian attacks that do not stop for a single day. We need stable, steady support every day while the war continues. The Netherlands demonstrates exactly the kind of support that works most effectively – a predictable annual volume of €3 billion each year. The Netherlands is also investing in the PURL initiative, which is critical for us and allows us to purchase air defense missiles. It is important that we are producing weapons together with the Netherlands – and we will certainly continue and expand this joint work. This is also provided for in the joint statement we adopted today. We discussed this in detail during the meeting – investments, licenses, and possible production volumes. The Netherlands has supported us since the first days of this war, and in many aspects – defense support, assistance to our energy sector, support for sanctions against Russia, as well as political support for Ukraine. Thank you for this.

The whole concept is wrong. F1 should be about maximum performance. For example: minimum car weight without hybrid or electric. If the team WANTS to add the electric to add performance that’s on top of the minimum weight. They would add only if adds performance. The whole criterium for the rule definition and the axioms used are wrong .

@LucasdiGrassi F1 is really missing a front MGU don't you think?

Het verbond van kwaadwillende Kremlintrollen en hun onnozele volgersschare in Nederland hebben het er maar weer druk mee vandaag. Willen graag de herdenking van 12 jaar Poetingeweld in Oekraïne bezoedelen.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 According to CNN, Zelensky’s workday begins between 3 and 4 in the morning, when the first battlefield reports arrive. He drinks strong black coffee, no sugar, to push through the early hours. Even under constant pressure, he has not lost his sense of humor and still finds brief moments to reset. The years of war, strain, and emotional weight are visible on him. No one carries that kind of burden without it showing. And yet he remains standing. Respect to Volodymyr Zelensky.

Lest there be any confusion: The “compression ratio trick” of 2026 is 100% exactly the same as the Ferrari “fuel flow trick” of 2019. An explicitly regulated measurement with regulatory intent, but a clever methodology to bypass intent while still passing the stated measurement methodology. We know what occurred with the Ferrari situation. Let’s see what happens with the Mercedes situation, and if their political and economic tendrils allow them to avoid commensurate accountability measures that others have experienced. If they do, then my assessment of the new nature of the sport (no longer managed from a sporting perspective but solely an economic one) has already come to pass.

Excellent from Alexander Stubb, President of Finland, "What has Russia achieved in the past 4 years?" "Taken 20% of Ukraine" "1 million casualties and dead" "Decreased it's sphere of influence" "Russian economy, 30% inflation, 16% interest rates, 0% growth, no more reserves, incapacity to pay soldiers when the war ends" "I'm more worried about Russia's unwillingness to end this war because they cannot afford to keep going" "Than about Russia's capability to win this war" "Let's keep things in perspective" "This war has been a strategic failure of Putin" "He increased the size of NATO" "He made Ukraine European" "He increased the defence budgets of European states" "Are we able to defend ourselves? Yes we are"

If there’s one person who understands the strategic reality on the ground in Europe, it’s General Ben Hodges. He spent years commanding U.S. Army Europe. He knows exactly how the Kremlin operates. In this latest interview with LBC, the General doesn't pull any punches. He lays out the cold, hard truth: while Trump is playing political games and taking two-hour coaching calls from putin, Ukraine is fighting for its life—and for the security of the entire West. Hodges cuts right through the 'peace deal' noise to show how the current US administration is effectively carrying water for the Kremlin by pushing a narrative of Russian 'inevitability.' This is the voice of reiason we should be listening to before the Trump administration sells out Ukraine.. LBC Presenter: Ben, your reaction to what we've heard from President Trump over the last few hours? Ben Hodges: Well, unfortunately, it's clearer now than ever before that President Trump is unfortunately taking the side of the Kremlin. I mean, to have a two-hour phone call with vladimir putin before you go into a meeting with President Zelenskyy—of course, that gave putin the opportunity to give the President all of the talking points, which the President then used during the meeting and during the press conference. It's just... it was embarrassing. I think it was probably his worst performance in a long list. But to hear the President of the United States basically carry water for the Kremlin by talking about the "inevitability" of a Russian victory, and "why not just have a deal now so you don't lose it later"—that reinforces putin’s main narrative. And then, worst of all, was the false equivalency of "Russia's attacks on Ukraine" and "Ukraine's attacks on Russia." I mean, Russia is attacking civilian infrastructure—apartment buildings, hospitals, the energy grid. Ukraine is attacking oil and gas, and military targets. There is no equivalency there. And then the final thing that I thought was just so galling was the President saying, "Well, you know, if we have a ceasefire, it would be very difficult for putin to start his military back up again." He was actually expressing sympathy for the challenge the Kremlin would have in restarting their military operations. LBC Presenter: And also saying that he "thinks putin wants what's best for Ukraine"—which I imagine will go down like a bucket of cold sick in Kyiv.

#Top2000
