The proposed duty rise isn’t just unfair on wine drinkers it’s threatening hundreds and thousands of small businesses too

Surely after the biggest rise in duty for 50 years last August, UK government isn't planning yet another rise? Though in the current circs, a proposal to fly UK wine trade to the moon en masse is not unthinkable

The overall drop in inflation is positive news bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-6… BUT wine and spirits have seen a nearly triple digit increase in inflation in the last 3 months. Increasing duty yet again would further fuel inflation, undermining the Government’s overall aim #FreezeDuty
