First time FSD (Supervised) for my mom, raw and uncut I just let my 70 yr old mom take a full drive on FSD From home to the Supercharger, and watched something shift in real time At first a little hesitant but she got used to it super quick, I did not expect this at all!! 🤯 By the end of the drive, she wasn’t just relaxed, she was amazed. Laughing. Pointing things out. Talking about how this could change driving for people her age. This is the moment people underestimate It’s not about tech specs or edge cases It’s about what happens when someone who didn’t grow up with this technology experiences it for the first time and it just works. Welcome to the future mom!!

@Cybertruck0001 Cloud-based profiles is the most unknown feature of Tesla. I travel a TON and always Turo a Tesla so I don’t have to mess with signing in. Plus, having FSD in an unknown city is a huge game changer. The fact that I can pause my podcast, fly across the country, and get into a random Tesla where it’s paused waiting exactly where I left it is a 🤯. It’s like the old days of roaming profiles for Windows, only it actually works—and that’s because @Tesla makes amazing tech!

Cybertruck is extremely comfortable on long trips especially thanks to: – Minimal body roll – Comfort Mode on FSD (gentler acceleration & braking, softer damping, smoother handling) – Air suspension + self-leveling keeping the truck flat even with load

@CannedDock As I just commented to another similar post on this topic. Chevy Tahoe, Nissan Armada, Ford expedition, are all in that high 80s to low 100s price point. There’s no way that it will get less than that. Maybe when it becomes a used vehicle.

@CyberAmped And you think a Tesla version would be cheap? An Escalade sized 3 row Tesla will be more than $100k easy. Who’s gonna buy that?

Fingers crossed 🤞 this happens. The market is ready for a true full-size EV SUV with a proper third row, the kind where adults don’t need a chiropractor after a short trip. The Escalade IQ is the only real option today, but it’s expensive, not very efficient, and the tech feels underwhelming. Hoping @Tesla jumps into this space soon!!

I believe there is truth in this post from @Jason and I've always said stainless steel is not required for this look and actually stamped panels would be easier and move production faster. What do I know I'm just some guy on the internet?

@RjFisher1998 I’m sure it will be in that range. However, there is no big SUV that is not less than that price point. E.g., Chevy Tahoe, Nissan Armada, Ford expedition, are all in that price category.

I want to like the Escalade IQ because it is the only real full size option out there right now with meaningful range.
After test driving it: It embodies the exact opposite of Tesla’s design philosophy.
It’s lumbering and gargantuan. It’s zero fun to drive. Massively inefficient.
It shows you how a legacy manufacturer is literally and figuratively weighed down by its past.
If Tesla builds a proper full-sized three row SUV for American families, it will dominate the market.

Starting my trek to FL. This will be the longest trip to date in the 📐. I’ve made this drive before but they were in ICE vehicles 🤮and I was always EXHAUSTED at the end of it. FSD makes these drives much easier!

Tesla friends, here’s some fun news: Tesla is doing a final Signature Series run of Plaid Model S and X. 250 S, 100 X (6-seat only). Invite-only so if you didn’t get the email you can’t buy one. Celebration event (fittingly at sunset) sometime in May.
