I’ve seen a few reports over the weekend raising concerns about IKEA’s new Matter range. My own experience has been quite different. Out of the ten devices I’ve paired so far, only one gave me any trouble, and that was resolved on a second attempt, something I also mentioned in my review. That review received around 120 comments, with only a small number raising pairing issues. I’ve also recommended the remotes to several people, and none of them have reported any problems so far. This suggests that experiences may vary depending on individual setups. In my case, I run a very stable Thread network and generally don’t encounter issues. While I don’t doubt that some users are having problems or the reports, I personally think this is more likely related to how Thread networks are deployed in homes rather than an issue with IKEA’s implementation itself.

@lawrencekibler @SuneKuntz You're right, I'm taking a risk. Based on the inside information I've obtained, support for the Matter Camera on the G350 is currently in progress.

@SuneKuntz @CyberModStudio Never trust Aqara when they say matter support is coming. Skip it until it’s really here.
