I test drove a cybertruck for the first time last week. Amazing machine. Was really tempted. Still am. The range is basically a deal breaker. I live 2-2.5 hrs from Dallas. I want to drive there and back comfortably. My Silverado EV is inferior in every way—but gets 450 miles.

I am finally seeing bears capitulate…. Close 🤏 Why’s this key?! Because it isn’t until bears capitulate that a tradable top can be established. Counterintuitive as it might seem, bears have helped fuel this rally to its full extent. When bears short and they are forced to “cover,” it is by default a buy. Until they QUIT shorting, the rally loses steam under its own weight. It’s a virtuous cycle of: short/cover/short/cover/short/cover/I GIVE UP! When the white flag is waved, the market corrects. 🏳️ Add options, and the flame that flickers in the background will soon be quenched by the bulls that need to sell to a buyer MUCH lower down. 🔥 And that, my friend, is the cold hard facts of how markets work. When I left my old “tree shaking X account”, I deleted an account with 10’s of thousands of followers & virtual friends. It was necessary. Frankly, the toxicity was too much. I hate to say it… But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen. There’s so few charities I trust now. I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist. A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens. An education nonprofit? Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression. Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me. It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

@yuriymatso When you use ALL valuation metrics, not so much. Forward p/e’s are worthless, as they’re predicated upon earnings estimates. That said, even if you include them into them into the mix, the Nasdaq and the S&P aren’t cheap at all. In fact, they are the most expensive in history.

Nasdaq is cheap -- its forward PE ratio is at 22.4, which is below the 10-year average. Higher prices ahead.
