At what point do Canadians finally understand that picking a fight with one of the biggest economies in the world, our dominant trade partner, and our neighbour over petty reason was a bad idea? We are going to suffer and continue to suffer until we grow up and start to negotiate in good faith 🤦

@Mattpetti32 @kirchho I like a guy who would rather call be names make fun of people rather than debate with truth and facts. So much easier to figure out who we should ignore.

Mark Carney is such a great and capable leader that he just managed to get hit by 50% more tariffs and isn't even back on Canadian soil 🤣🤣🤣☠️

Canadians don't seem to get it. It's simple. US tariffs make our products non-competitive with American equivalents, so Americans buy their own goods, which means our manufacturers loose out on the revenue they would otherwise gain from a shared market. We loose. America wins.

@RepLangworthy Can you really be this stupid? Educate yourself in the size of Canada’s boreal forests. These are not forests alongside of roads or in national parks. They are areas that are unreachable, millions of acres, uninhabited, no roads, too long a flight for water bombers.

From The Observer: "Canada must take meaningful action to prevent these catastrophic wildfires and protect both Canadians and Americans. If it refuses to do so, there should be consequences. Our citizens should not be forced to suffer because another nation's government failed to do its job."

@Kym_F @KevinOffScript So there are 20 million illegal immigrants (not the right number), and over 50 million residential rental spaces. So at 60% you're saying immigrants making so much money they're renting multiple apartments at once?

@KevinOffScript HUD reported 60% of rentals are by foreign born. Thats why rent is so high.

If you're blaming the high housing prices on boomers and landlords, you're missing the fact that we have over 20 million illegals in America who all live in houses and apartments. Without them...we've for 5-10 million houses, when supply is up, prices go down.

@Cycle_Point @RobWigh @Vivek4real_ I appreciate your response. My argument is it impacts a very few farms. I was looking for the percentage of family farms that are over the exemption amount.

@SteveOnSpeed I don't know. Drive to Survive got us watching F1 during Covid. Now I look forward to waking up for a race at 3am and having some snacks with a drink. It feels a little decadent.

“The World Cup was awesome! I’m gonna watch it again in four years!” No, you won’t. You watched it this year because it was in your time zone and convenient. You’re not getting up in the middle of the night in four years to watch a sport you didn’t care about for the previous four.

@GrindeOptions I haven't used an alarm clock in over a decade. My morning traffic jam is my dog and cat both sleeping in the hallway to my office. If I've got everything I need to get done finished by 2pm, I have no issue just sitting in the sun on the deck with a cold beer.

Creating generational wealth is what I’m chasing after. I don’t want to punch in at a 9-5, get up by alarm clock and be obligated to be at job place each week. I want to live on my terms and on my own schedule. That’s why I’m crazy about investing because that’s how I’ll escape that rat race. I want to help others out along the way.

@Rodneyp66 @RobWigh @Vivek4real_ The previous level set in 2017 was already $11M, so while it is definitely a good thing, it only affects those in the $11-15M range, and it's not that difficult to have a farm worth over $15M.

@GuyTalksFinance Bought a home in 2014 in a fast growing city neighborhood. Sold in 2024. Moved about 90 minutes out of the city and bought a bigger but older home for all cash. No more mortgage or rent. That's the power of leverage.

You can buy a $500k home with a $100k down payment. If that home increases by 3% in value your equity would increase to $115,000. A 15% increase. If you invested that same $100k into the S&P500 with a 10% return you would have $110,000. You can’t underestimate the power of leverage.

BREAKING: We just caught a wild trade. Representative Dan Crenshaw just filed a purchase of a triple-leveraged oil ETF, $USOU. He sits on the House Energy Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. Why on earth is a congressman trading a leveraged oil ETF right now?

New York school district to become one of the first in the United States to introduce a humanoid robot in the classroom. 'Sally' will have a Western New York accent and will teach 11th and 12th-grade students at Salamanca High School. Sally costs less than the average teacher's salary in New York, with a price tag of $57,000. The robot has brown hair, and can move its arms and legs, but will not be able to walk around the classroom. Students will be able to log in so the humanoid can recognize students and their previous interactions. The humanoid will be helping teach coding, robotics, and AI classes. The school district promises that robots will "never" replace human teachers. ‘Sally’ is made by Realbotix, which also produces "companion" robots. What are we doing here?

I hate to say it, but I’m done making excuses for President Trump. The things he’s done this term genuinely infuriate me: • Calling the Epstein files “fake news” and a scam • Starting a full-blown war with Iran after he already took out their nuclear sites • Turning into a full-blown Zionist cheerleader • Repeatedly claiming inflation is “down” while we’re all getting crushed by higher prices on gas, groceries, and everything else I voted for him three times. But I’m tired of the lying. America First should actually mean America First, not Israel, not Ukraine, not only his family and friends ... AMERICA.

Dear Airbnb hosts, If I’m paying a cleaning fee, I’m not cleaning. Hotels don’t charge a cleaning fee, and they don’t ask me to strip the beds, take out the trash, load the dishwasher, or start the laundry. So why am I paying a cleaning fee and still doing the cleaning?
