Thanks for filming the new active travel infrastructure - that area is now so much more pedestrian and cycle friendly - now on to the next bit, as you say, along Victoria Street up to Temple Meads.
Martin Booth@beardedjourno

The excellent new segregated cycle lane across Bristol Bridge is now open and it’s exactly the sort of safe cycling infrastructure that our city desperately needs. Let’s hope it can soon continue along Victoria Street towards Temple Meads.

A futureproof city focuses not only on cycling, but searches for synergies with other modalities such as public transport, walking, and the automobile. 50% of all trips that take place on the transit system in the Netherlands begin with a bicycle ride.

The majority of urban residents questioned think that reducing speed limits would improve their local area✅ This #RoadSafetyWeek we want to see lower speed limits on residential roads across the UK, to encourage active travel, make our streets safer and ultimately save lives.

How can Dutch cities afford to spend so much on cycling? They see each penny as an investment—in a healthier and happier population, a low-congestion and low-maintenance road network, and a public realm where people want to spend time and money. How can your city afford not to?

Frightening to see how easily a D-lock can be cut with a portable angle grinder at recent launch of @Litelok’s X product. This new bike lock should deter theft, but needs to be supported by an ecosystem that includes more secure bike parking and robust action against criminals
Litelok®@Litelok

All unarmoured bike locks can be cut in seconds by an angle-grinder. Stop thieves with LITELOK X, the world’s most affordable, usable, full size, armoured bike lock. litelok.com/x Launches tomorrow, 29th September #BikeTheft #EBike #MadeInBritain #Cycling #StolenBike
