BREAKING: Derek Chauvin has been convicted of the murder of George Floyd. For the first time in Minnesota state history, a white police officer has been held accountable for killing a Black man.

Just to be clear.... No one should ever be shot at with a taser during a routine traffic stop either.

We are sick and heartbroken. In the closing days of Derek Chauvin’s murder trial, Brooklyn Center police killed 20 year old Daunte Wright, another Black man, during a traffic stop. This violence is a basic part of police interactions with communities of color. It must stop.

Finally got word that I will be starting my ENT sub-internship rotation in July! Nervous to get back into the OR so maybe I will practice by waking up at 4AM and standing in my kitchen for 10+ hours with a mask on. #otolaryngology
