I have never seen God physically so this doesn’t apply to me or anyone else who wants to understand theology and apologetics.

If your basis of belief is physical evidence, one, Jesus would rebuke you, and two, the bible has sooooo many claims that have no physical evidence. The resurrection is proven true by the hundreds of individuals who, unrelated to the Bible itself, witnessed it and its aftermath.

@VenomEnrique Find youself a therapist who’s Christian (or better yet specifically Catholic) to help you deal with these thoughts if they keep reoccurring and bothering you. I struggled with scrupulosity for years and it destroyed me but learning proper coping mechanisms helps a lot.

scrupulosity sucks because I've gone through an entire examination of conscience and determined I have only venial sin, yet I still have the nagging "but what if" nonsense. the uncertainty is incredibly frustrating
