Kenyans are being crushed by taxes while billions are poured into State House furnishings and a chapel project. The KSh 4.8 trillion budget looks less like development and more like a 2027 campaign war for Ruto and his allies.Priorities completely detached from ordinary citizens

KSh 4.8 trillion questions, yet Kenyans face overtaxation and a high cost of living. Expensive State House renovations and a chapel project show how disconnected William Ruto’s priorities are from ordinary citizens.

Poverty is the engine of glorified capitalism. While Kenyans suffer, William Ruto keeps squeezing citizens dry through EPRA and endless levies to fund politics as the cost of living spirals. #RejectFuelPrices

@abuga_makori In a litre of fuel there are over 7 levies and taxes, for a litre of petrol 50 % goes to taxes and levies . WHY NOT REVIEW ON THOSE LEVIES AND TAXES?

Look at the guy who interrupted Opiyo Wandayi and listen to his accent! Same people. Ruto found all the levies imposed on petroleum products. He only added 8% of VAT and went on to scrap it last month. His only additional presently is KES7 RMLF which was securitised to do stalled road projects. Fuel crisis is a global problem. Understand it from that angle.

If 25% of every litre is levy, how much are Kenyans expected to endure before fuel becomes unaffordable? #RejectFuelPrices

When nearly a quarter of every litre of petrol goes to levies and taxes, are Kenyans funding development or just surviving exploitation? High fuel prices affect everything — food, transport, and livelihoods. #RejectFuelPrices

We have managed to stabilise our economy and set the pace for transformation because of bold decisions we have met.

@kentai6362 @otienowill A change in one factor directly affects another because economic activities are interdependent,An increase in fuel prices affects transport costs, which then affects food prices and inflation. .Hii ni basic economics

@otienowill You want people who don't own cars to protest over fuel hike yet car owners like you put down their asses in Wanjigi's house? It will not happen.

Ruto celebrates a “stable” shilling against the dollar, yet Kenyans are sinking deeper into economic pain. Fuel cartels, the Starbex oil saga, and EPRA-linked dealings keep enriching a few while millions struggle with the rising cost of living. A strong currency means nothing

The Strait of Hormuz may reopen and global fuel prices may drop, but in Kenya, Ruto and the G2G cartel will still find a reason to raise prices. Kenyans are no longer buying fuel — we’re funding cartels

If being in government still means being neglected, then what’s the point of voting? As Kipsigis, we feel sidelined, ignored, and only remembered when votes are needed
