The staff and leadership at PS 221 have built a school where students are supported and families feel it. Parents shared how responsive teachers are, how well their children are known, and the real growth they are seeing. That kind of trust speaks volumes!

The ballroom celebration at PS 221 was AWESOME! Students showed confidence, teamwork, and joy as they performed with pride. Experiences like this build skills that go far beyond the classroom and create memories that last a lifetime. PS 221 students are brilliant and talented!

Met with student leaders at PS 221Q and was blown away by their confidence, leadership, and pride in their school. From civics projects to theater, sports, and service work, they are making a real impact and lifting each other up every day. Student voice in action!

Spent the day at PS 221 and saw a school where culture, instruction, and student voice come together in powerful ways. Classrooms were engaging, students were thinking and talking, and the sense of community was clear the moment you walked in. Proud of the work happening here.

Appreciated the opportunity to join Chancellor Town Hall in Queens tonight and hear directly from students, families, and school leaders across Queens.  Powerful themes emerged around student voice, school safety, academic opportunity, and Appeal School Funding.

Had a fantastic morning visiting classrooms at MS216Q and seeing their impressive technology program in action! It's inspiring to watch the next generation in Queens diving into STEM and discovering the fun in learning.

Student Leaders from all 28 D26 schools visited the Ronald McDonald House today. Students toured the facility, created cards for families, and reflected on the 4Cs (collaboration, community, character, and commitment) while exploring ways to strengthen this partnership. WOW!

MS 74 takes the basketball championship for the 3rd year in a row! Proud of the effort and sportsmanship shown by MS 172 and MS 74. Great work by our District 26 student-athletes!

Congrats to our District 26 Girls Basketball Champions! 🏀 MS 74 wins the title for the 5th straight year! 🏆 Great game by MS 158. Final score 22–19. Proud of all our student-athletes!

Students at MS 216 are doing incredible work in robotics, drones, digital art, and photography. Proud to see how technology, creativity, and student voice come together to create powerful learning experiences in District 26. WOW!

An incredible evening celebrating literacy with the PS 133 community at Barnes & Noble. Families and staff came together to celebrate reading through student performances, singing, and the energy of our cheerleaders. Powerful things happen when families & staff come together!
