Thomas Massie losing is the best case scenario for the left. Libertarians are a molecule from realizing that liberty and capitalism are incompatible. They've made the error of associating economic freedom with civil freedom - but we're in the late game. Former stomps the latter.

Boomers.
Younger voters are completely disenchanted with the entire political process, many of them feel betrayed after this last presidential election and have simply decided they will no longer vote.
Boomers, on the other hand, love Trump. They also tend to historically be more judgmental and the smear campaign against Massie in regard to his active sex life shortly following the death of his wife did its job.
I HOPE that turns out to not be the case.

@ComicDaveSmith we're going to learn the extent that libertarians are rooted in principle. especially with Massie losing.
my guess is it's a minority and the rest are LARPers who just want social credit for using slurs.
