Les émissions radio que nous observons tous les jours sont produites sur les mêmes lignes de champ magnétique que celles tombant dans les régions aurorales observées dans cette belle image du #JWST.

L'image grand champ, composite à deux longueurs d'ondes, révèle également les anneaux ténus autour de la planète et les lunes Amalthea et Adrastea (diamètres ~200km et ~20km). Les lignes brillantes au pôle sud et à gauche de l'image sont des artéfacts de diffraction.

Time now 13:24 UT. Am observing sporadic weak pre-ignition solar sparks/flares on Nançay Decameter Array (Réseau Décamétrique de Nançay) @DAM_Nancay trying to inflate a yet compact solar radio bubble. "Flicking the Bic" to inflate a magnetic balloon. obs-nancay.fr/reseau-decamet…
