@S200WEEE @Geeb1872 This kind of action is yet to be punished at WC. Take the Swiss-Arg game, Argentinian defenders did this multiple times & received a favor in their favor smh

@dangiallorossi Did Clarke put a gun to Tuchel’s head to force him to give the answer that he did? The blame is squarely on Tuchel as he could’ve easily gave a generic answer or handled the interview better smh

@HLTCO Will say this again, the whole interview gate is Tuchel’s own doing, he is an experienced manager who should’ve known better.

What has become abundantly clear in the aftermath of this is that, given the number of journalists jumping to defend the interview, newsworthiness will ALWAYS trump potential sporting success, whilst for fans, the exact opposite is true. 99% of supporters want everything possible done to try and help England deliver a first trophy in 60 years, those defending the tone of the questioning are doing so because it was Clarke’s “job” to see a potential thread of controversy and prod at it. What I can’t ever understand, is the indignation so many journalists display towards fans who lambast them for feeling that way. If you’re actively looking to select parts of a series of answers given and use them to sew potential problems, you’re going to get stick; own it. Don’t pretend it’s noble or morally correct, it’s not.
HLTCO@HLTCO

Jim White is fully, fully aware that Simon Jordan’s question to him on 1:16 is the crux of this whole argument and he takes a beat whilst realising it internally, knowing he doesn’t have an answer and then changing the subject.

@NoobGoneBadX I don’t understand some Utd fans obsession with Amorim, most wanted him gone yet those same fans post about him as if he is still the Utd manager smh

@JamesMelville How is the media stirring the pot when Tuchel gave the comments on his own, he is an experienced manager and should’ve known better

Kudos to Simon Jordan for calling out the disingenuous media shit-stirring to try and cultivate a feud between England coach Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham. Jim White’s response in defence of the media gets completely rinsed by Simon Jordan.

@kaweesifrank21 @CBSSportsGolazo @marcelobalboa17 Watched every minute of it, Argentinian players were getting away with fouls and right along with flopping all over the field. Also, an Argentinian player didn’t get a yellow card until the 97th minute in the game smh

@RestIsFootball Even got me agreeing with Shearer here @MicahRichards 😅 that isn’t a hang a leg scenario. It’s pure protecting the ball. Could maybe make a small case for it if not given on field! Shocking VAR call. Def not an error

@PRAWNSANDOWl @talkSPORT Did the journalist force Tuchel to give the answer that he did? Tuchel could’ve easily said that he was happy with the win and excited to see their next opponent, instead Tuchel was emotional and said things that he knew he shouldn’t have said.

@Superspurs1982 No he is not, Micah is correct, Spence clearly and unnaturally wrapped his right leg around the defender, I was glad it was overturned

Shearer is bang on… DJed didn’t ‘wrap’ his leg round the defender, he stepped across him to buy the foul which is giving as a penalty 99 times out of 100…
