@TFTC21 i did. i bought it 5 years ago (dumped in a huge lump sum). since then, inflation has been rampant and the broader markets have ripped higher. my bitcoin still has the same nominal value it did 5 years ago. i lost lots of purchasing power.

Bitcoin moved 2.4% tonight. A geopolitical headline hit, thin weekend liquidity did the rest, and $864 million in overleveraged positions got flushed. 240,000 traders wiped out. Gold dropped 11.2% this week. The S&P hit its lowest close of 2026. The Russell 2000 is in correction territory. And the guy who bought Bitcoin on a Saturday morning and went to the park with his kids didn't even notice. No margin call. No liquidation. No stress. Just an asset sitting in cold storage doing exactly what it's supposed to do during global uncertainty. The 240,000 traders who got wiped tonight all had one thing in common, they added complexity to something that was already working. Buy Bitcoin. Put it in cold storage. Go live your life. Stay humble. Stack sats.

It’s very difficult to conduct any sort of rational military or political strategy with you are fighting a genocidal death cult that has no respect for human life and believes they’ll be gifted virgins in the afterlife. Blow up civilian infrastructure? Sure. Without a second thought. Nuke a major city? Allah wills it. Iran is a perfect demonstration of why radical Islam is incompatible with the modern world. What happens when these people are 50% of Western democracies like the UK? You think you’re going to reason with them? You think they’re going to live and let live? The West has made a terrible mistake. And it may be too late to reverse it.

BREAKING: Piers Morgan says the UK has "zero defense" against Iran's ballistic missiles. "So not only has Iran brazenly lied about its ballistic missile range capacity, but this means it can probably hit the UK with them - and we have zero, I repeat ZERO, defence against these missiles." "Very worrying."

@schotanus @jsblokland Vreemde logica. Wat hij zegt klopt gewoon toch? Europa is voor een groot deel afhankelijk van derde partijen voor energie. Zo kunnen wij zogenaamd lekker groen zijn en deugen.

@jsblokland “…have squandered energy security by pursuing ideological, unrealistic climate targets.” Dus klimaatdoelen hebben Donald Trump geforceerd om Iran aan te vallen? Welk een bizarre kwatsch 🤡

I’m not an energy expert, but what I am reading from people who are, energy supplies will remain severely disrupted even if the US and Israel stop the attacks immediately. Several oil and gas hubs in the region have been damaged or destroyed, meaning supply just can’t return in the very short term. Most likely, the impact of the disruptions on inflation is underestimated. That means your money in the bank, your wealth, and purchasing power will take another hit. Moreover, in an attempt to restore credibility, central banks are lining up to state that rates will have to go up if energy prices push up inflation. Lifting interest rates to fight inflation, which central banks have zero impact on, would be a foolish move, causing households even more strain and increasing the odds of a recession. Central banks should not raise rates to combat geopolitical inflation they cannot tame. What has become painfully clear, AGAIN, is that many countries, including many in Europe, have squandered energy security by pursuing ideological, unrealistic climate targets. Recent events will likely trigger another reactive response from policymakers, while recent developments make it, AGAIN, abundantly clear that forward-looking policies and anticipation are needed. It is pretty frustrating and sad to see today’s policymakers unable to understand how things are changing, determine what truly matters, and focus their efforts on it. All at the expense of the citizens they serve. Energy supply security is crucial in today’s world. Let’s make sure we achieve it as soon as possible.

If the public see ICE take over airport security, we are one step closer to what the Dems REALLY don’t want, which is ICE at polling locations. If Trump gets voter-ID, no mass mail-in ballots, and ICE at polling locations, the Dems’ election fraud schemes are neutralized, and they will get steamrolled in the midterms. Not only will they lose substantial seats in Congress, but a landslide loss will confirm to the public that the Dems have been cheating in past elections, via illegals and mail-in ballot harvesting. If Trump secures the 2026 midterms, it will be a death blow to the Democrat Party.

Two Bitcoin ranges which lots of people might view in a similar light and yet they are so different. While in the first one, people were generally bullish & longing for the most part, in the current one, the general consensus is to be short & lack of interest for any new longs due to geopolitical events. The positioning is the most skewed since the FTX lows. All while spot interest by institutional buyers has started to trend upwards in the past month or so. Do with that information what you will.

Britain is 6% Muslim. Germany 5%. France 10%. Sweden 9%. Belgium 7%. At this rate of Islamic conquest, Europe will be majority Muslim sometime around the year 2847. I’d pencil in some mild concern for around 2600 and see how things look then. Now. The refugees. Since someone asked who’s paying for all this. Let’s follow the money back a bit further. America invaded Afghanistan, spent 20 years there achieving absolutely nothing, then left in such breathtaking chaos that people were literally hanging off aircraft. It then invaded Iraq over weapons that turned out not to exist, killed somewhere between 150,000 and a million people, and converted a functioning country into a sectarian hellscape. This is before we even get to the drones over Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. The people washing up on European shores are, in very large part, the direct human wreckage of American foreign policy. America created the disaster. Europe is housing the survivors. And America is on the internet asking why Europe keeps letting people in. Remarkable cheek, really. As for eliminating indigenous culture: the United States actually eliminated its indigenous people. Deliberately. With rifles and government paperwork. Europe took in Syrian doctors. These are not comparable situations, and pretending they are requires a truly heroic indifference to history. The culture is fine. France still has the cheese. The Louvre is still there. Bach is still there. Nothing has been eliminated except, apparently, the ability to read a percentage.
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

Britain, Germany, Belgium, France and Sweden are in a race for which becomes the first Islamic country in Europe. They just keep importing more and more fake refugees every chance they get. Who is paying for this intentional elimination of the indigenous people and culture?
